The hotel has a charming, traditional atmosphere though has obviously been refurbished and looked after. The breakfast choice was excellent. We ate dinner here which delicious and good value. The spa was super clean, light and welcoming with a fairly large swimming pool and well laid out spa area. Their are walks from the hotel or the hotel will take you down to the train station (a fifteen minute walk) from where you can catch a train to destinations along the Bernina line.

The room was super cozy, nicely decorated (as the whole hotel), really clean. The hotel has an awesome wellness area with three saunas, a chill space with tea, water, and little snacks, plus an amazing view. Breakfast was included, and had a variety of delicious bread from their own bakery which is also worth visiting, as it offers some unique creations. Apart from bakery, there is also a very nice restaurant. The hotel is in a great spot, right by public transport (bus connection to the railway station and neighboring villages), shops, and the whole Engadin cross-country trail network, easy to reach on foot or by bus. They also have a skiing and waxing room, perfect for any cross-country skier. The owners and staff are super friendly, always there to help out with info or suggestions.

A classical 5-star experience. The staff were amazingly friendly and did their best to make you feel at home. The view from the room was breathtaking. What a wonderful hotel! Spacious, elegant, luxurious, beautifully decorated, and with a breathtaking view of the Bernina group. The hotel gave us a free upgrade and our very comfortable room had three windows with a view of the river and towards the mountains. We also loved the swimming pool and its adjacent terrace. The restaurant is elegant and served first class food. The breakfast was among the best ever, with a great variety of dishes. We can't wait to come back!

    Staff in this hotel is very welcoming. It's very conveniently located just across the street from the train station and you receive a card that allows you to travel on the railway for free during your stay. Hiking trails start also a few meters away from the hotel. Sunset on the terrace is rewarding and food is very good. We had a nice family room which actually had separate rooms for parents and kids with a nice living room in the middle.

    Warm & cosy apartment which was very much appreciated at the end of a days outing as Pontresina had quite a cold spell while we were there. Reasonably well equipped & very clean, also has an excellent shower. Pontresina is a really good base for exploring the surrounding regions by bus & train & we felt glad to have stayed there & not St Moritz.

    We only stayed one night. It was clean and comfortable and the restaurant was lively and the food fine. The location was perfect for us as we were breaking a longer train journey. The location right across from the train station meant no time was spent lugging our bags from and to the station. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre.

    This was a wonderful hotel with very attentive staff who made for a very relaxing stay. We had a large corner room with greats views and comfortable bed. Breakfast was a generous spread and coffee came from an espresso machine! Best we’ve had for a while. A few extras we didn’t expect were great touches.
