If you want the Bavarian Alp countryside ambiance, this is the place to stay. We thought it was a little quaint type hotel up a small side street, when, in fact, it has numerous rooms and facilities and still quaint. We had a twin room with a balcony. It was mid October and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The balcony provided fresh air and views. We even had a flock of goats in the morning complete with bells on like in the movies. The views from our back room were fantastic. The breakfast was totally German: meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries, bread, hot foods, cereals, etc. We even had dinner one night and it was nicely priced and the food outstanding. There is free parking across the street but let the office staff help you determine which spaces are OK. We would stay here again!

This was the best hotel that we stayed in. The breakfast was delicious the variety of food was good. We really enjoyed the afternoon snack. Dinner was excellent. The room was spacious and very clean. bed and pillows very comfy. Bathroom was also spacious and modern. The location was excellet. The service from all the staff at Hotel Zugspitz was awesome!

Me and my wife traveled with a baby boy 1 year and 10 months old , The hotel exceeded our expectation , For the first time I felt as I owe to them, Staff is very responsive and helpful , I would like specially to thank, Mr Bozilov and Svetlana from reception . We were with breakfast, lunch and dinner . Quality of food is excellent , very delicious , Service in restaurant exceeded my expectation . Location is very quiet , it makes stay relaxing And joyful . Outdoor and indoor space are enough to Serve all needs for all Ages ! We made friends with family from Dortmund , they told me , They like it so much , That they will make this hotel Their annual holiday . So summary we highly recommend this hotel !!! I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. The location is absolutely breathtaking! We enjoyed a beautiful view from our room’s balcony. The breakfast was basic but satisfactory, and the small swimming pool was a nice touch. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I wouldn’t choose this place again.

Wonderful accommodation. Clean quiet and spacious room in a great location for our travels. We were welcomed by a very kind woman at the desk who was helpful friendly and made us feel at home. We learned a lot about the area from her and enjoyed meeting her. The breakfast we had was delicious and we will absolutely stay there again when our plans allow

Alphotel Ettal offers a charming and cozy retreat in a beautiful alpine setting, We stayed in a ground floor room, which was convenient as we were traveling with a dog. The view was still great, and we had direct access to the hotel's backyard. The food was good, with generous portions. Generally, there is enough parking, but during winter peak season, it might become an issue. Despite these minor inconveniences, our stay was enjoyable.

Unlike other places where the dogs are allowed, this hotel really welcomes pets. There was a dog bed and towel in our room. And water and food too. We were more than happy with this arrangement. Not only the our dog but also for us, it was an excellent stay. There is a wellness room with 3 different sauna and a very good restaurant. The breakfast was included for the price and had everything you need to start a day. If you travel your puppy highly recommended. We will definitely come back when we will be there next time.

Responsive staff, was able to accommodate a late check in. Had an elevator. The room was perfect, wish we were staying longer. The accommodations were really comfy.
