The apartment was lovely, cosy and clean. The farm itself was amazing, spacious area surrounded by mountains, our 3 year old was all the time trying to talk with farm animals from our garden. It was a lovely experience, even better than expected. We will definitely come back again.

My wife and I stayed at Borthwnog Hall as part of our drive from Bath, around Wales, and to Oxford. It can be thought of as an adjunct to a country home, located in a beautiful site overlooking an estuary. Our room boasted a balcony, and the view was great. Housekeeping was excellent, the staff was helpful, breakfast was fine and parking was free. This is not, it should be said, a place to stay if you want to be able to walk to bars, clubs and restaurants. It's a country venue, after all. But there's a good pub/restaurant visible and accessible by bridge a short drive away, and the nice beach town of Barmouth isn't far.

We had the most wonderful stay and the hotel really lived up to and exceeded expectations with fantastic staff. Once you are there you can really appreciate the detail that has gone into the design, the Welsh inspired art, and the wonderful surrounds. We stayed in the "Wooly Wagon". Accomodation has camper van size and set up. It is very well equipped with a relatively spacious bathroom, cooking possibilites etc. etc. and everything is perfectly working. On top very cosy thematic "Shaun the sheep" decoration!

Thank you Colin and Lisa for a fabulous stay at Borthwen. It had everything we wanted for a perfect holiday. Wonderful soft sheets, beautiful views, lovely birds on the bird feeder, including a woodpecker at one point. Breakfast was perfect, accommodation was spotless. Would fully recommend to everyone.

Traditional country house accomodation.....in peaceful setting. Attentive staff. Lovely rooms ..We stayed in "Idris" . Breakfast service superb. Had an evening meal in Lounge which was also very good. If you're looking to stay in this beautiful area and want something a bit more special would recommend. 10/10

Absolutely gorgeous farm, accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed! Really cosy quiet stay. The farm is beautiful, horses all around, little collie dog and farm kittys that welcomes you when you arrive! Owners/family were really friendly and informative. Streams and trails right on the door step and only 10 minutes away from shops/pubs. Absolutely loved it here and will be back!

Lovely compact accommodation just a short walk to the quaint village which has lots of cafes, pubs and a few restaurants. The accommodation is ideally located and has plenty of space for a short stay. The owners provide lots of information about the accommodation and places in and around the area. We had a lovely relaxing few days break, and we would definitely go back.
