I've been staying here frequently as I work nearby and so far I've been impressed with the Bowmans. Prices are very reasonable for a double room and the quality of the bed and furnishings is very high. The location is essentially right in the middle of Howden next to everything, with a convenience store opposite which is great for picking up a sandwich in the morning before work. Downstairs is a pub that shows Sky Sports and serves drinks until late which is great if you're into that.

Very nice local pub in the heart of Howden. Rooms are two floors up, so remote from any noise. Nicely decorated and furnished room a la Polizzi and very comfortable bed. A perfect stay, thank you.
