Lovely property in fantastic location, restaurants and beach a 5 minute walk away. Upon arrival, the sofa bed was not made up, there was also a problem no running hot water. Maintenance was easy to contact and sorted out straight away by calling a plumber out to sort out the boiler. Despite these hiccups, I would stay again.

Perfect location, with the sea 15 yards in front of you with no obstructions to the beautiful view. Travelled from London which was unexpectedly easy with train and hovercraft on one ticket door to door. Apartment was beautiful and Stan and Norie have made it a "home from home" Arrived and accessed the keys without any issues after excellent communication from both Stan and Norie, who could not been have more helpful in assisting us. Spotlessly clean in both the communal areas and the apartment. Coffee, tea and the basic essentials were awaiting us which was great after our journey. There is a lift as you enter the building which takes you to the first floor apartment and is a godsend for anyone with mobility issues. Stan and Norie, literally have everything you'd have in your own home - A washing machine, microwave, hoover, fans and even a hairdryer. Both rooms have tonnes of storage and hanging space. There are two restaurants/pubs 20 yards to your left - The Steamer Inn and I can't remember the other name :) We were not driving so made full use of the island buses which can be accessed from the station off the main street in Shanklin. We used the lift to get access to the top of the cliff and if you're not too fit would recommend using this. Travelled to Ventnor on the bus £2 and went to the Smoking Lobster Restaurant on the seafront. Looks very unassuming and needs to be booked in advance but well worth it - Haven't tasted Lobster that good in years - Food has an Asian twist and is delicious. If like us and travelling on Public Transport or indeed, fancy a night out without driving, we found a lovely taxi driver by the name of Paul and he can be contacted in advance of any nights out on 01983777759. We will definitely be returning (If Stan and Norie will have us :)) and could not recommend Tides Reach and its owners enough.

Great location, close to the beach. Nice, quiet area. Apartment is clean, well equipped. Hosts are friendly and really helpful, quick to respond. You can also have a great bbq and enjoy the pool. The pool also has some equipments.

The perfect place to rest. Peaceful, clean, has everything you need. Great location 5 min walk from the centre and the sea. I escaped the business in London to relax a bit, and this place really helped me to do so. The owner is very kind and tried to meet all my needs. You also have included a nice breakfast with different options. I went for the English breakfast and was freshly prepared at the moment. The single room on the top had a lovely compfy bed, a nice and clean bathroom, and 2 windows which is not obvious for smaller rooms like a single. There is also outside space where you can relax, have a drink. I am really happy with the whole experience, will come back. Shanklin is a beautiful town, and you can easily go anywhere from there with buses if you don't have a car like me. One of the bus stops (the coaster) it is just in front of the guest house.

The best accommodation on the whole island! The room was clean and comfortable. The delicious breakfast was complemented by the view of the ocean which was just a few feet from the patio. Helen and Dave were the most friendly and helpful hosts we've ever met. We would love to stay there again.

We had an amazing 4 night stay at chine side. Everything was just perfect, amazing hosts, yummy breakfast, beautiful comfortable bedroom with ensuite looking over the most beautiful garden😍 chine side is about a 2 minute walk to old shanklin village. Would highly recommend this B&B which is more like a boutique hotel to everyone its defo 5 stars from us ☆☆☆☆☆ we will definitely be returning when we are holidaying in the Isle of wight 💞 Thankyou for an amazing stay Debbie & Kevin.

We stayed for just one night due to a problem with our other accommodation, and we were met by the friendliest host Steve. The hotel is in the middle of a refurb and I will definitely return to see the hardwork completed. Our room was clean, comfortable and has a spectacular sea view, which the chaise in the bay window was perfect for enjoying! Dog friendly too which is fantastic! Good luck Steve, I’m sure you’ll be a fantastic success!

We only stayed 3 nights because of lack of information. Everything was exceptional at the hotel. The reason being you, booking. Com never told us a we had to book the ferries. When we found out from the staff at the hotel, we could not get a ferry on the Monday or Tuesday to return from holiday because of the Isle of Wright Festival. So we had to come home early and miss a last day at the hotel.
