Lovely staff throughout the hotel, very friendly and helpful. We were traveling for a family bereavement, and the staff at reception were more than accommodating to our needs. Clean and spacious bedroom with all facilities catered for .Tea and Coffee tray in room also complimentary water. Extra fresh towels supplied. Food served in bar was excellent and reasonably priced .

The owner is a lovely man which we really enjoyed have a chat with! The location of the property is amazing, very quite, lovely view and very close (within walking distance) from train station and amenities. The property itself is a gem, outstanding furniture's and facilities. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

The hosts were awesome, easy to find, and centrally located. We flew into EDI and got our car and drove directly to a fantastic view of Scotland. We were able to park and unload our stuff beside the pod and then parked just a few steps away. Of note the pods were separated very well, we felt we had our own little spot. The train station, grocery, and pubs were all within minutes. We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed our pod. We'd definitely book here again.

We stayed in the mobilome. It was great. More space inside than expected. Rooms were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Neat train station, 30 minutes train to Edinburgh. Lovely stay.

I recently stayed at Best Western The Hilcroft Hotel West Lothian, and I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness. Both the hotel and my room were spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. It's a nice hotel, the beds where a bit too firm for me but that's always personal choice. Room was clean and well equipped as was the bathroom. Temperature of the room was easily controlled and nice and cosy when we arrived. We've stayed before and we will stay again.

We had a function event over the whole weekend , the managment and staff were superbly proffesional and went out of there way in support to our events commitee and to our guests staying at the hotel , who also remarked how good they were supported , during the weekend , From Managment, reception staff , Bar Staff ,Waiters and maitenance staff , delivered a service the hotel should be very proud of their staff , outstanding job done !! WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN NEXT YEAR !

The location was great - not in Edinburgh but with only a little effort we drove to a nearby station, parked and took the train. Thanks to a wonderfully helpful front desk staff member this became an easy task to do. We had one dinner and two breakfasts, all excellent. We were late checking in and had missed dinner time but the manager took the trouble to go to the kitchen and organise something more than adequate for us. Parking was free which wasn't going to be the case if we had had stayed in Edinburgh.

Stayed here a few years ago . Staff are really helpful food is good unfortunately the rooms are very tired and walls are dirty ! Headboard was all peeled off!

Very clean, reasonably priced however it was a lot cheaper through booking.com rather than going direct with the hotel. The food in the restaurant was very nice Staff very pleasant, would definitely stay again if in the area.
