The guides were excellent. I was taken into the park by Roy who knew all the bird calls and where to find them, whilst Bobby is a veteran and seems to know everything and everyone associated with wildlife! The food was good as well and the beer cheap so no complaints there

Perfect homestay: great spacious bungalow with good bed(s), airco, simple bathroom. Delicious Indonesian food in their restaurant, quickly arranged tours and transport. Best massage ever arranged for my sore back, she was very professional and herein no time 🙏🏻 Alfasupermarket at walking distance. Beach nearby (but no facilities at black vulcano beach) Very very friendly people with a great sense of hospitality ánd humor! We loved this place so we lengthened by 3 more nights.

Just wonderful hotel and staff. We stayed on the 6th floor and had a great view of the ships coming and going. Bed was comfy and big and breakfast astounding so much well cooked local food

A modern yet traditional and tranquil place to stay while visiting the Lembeh and Bitung area. Pak Alex and his team are ever attentive and helpful. Alex accommodated changed dates and flights etc despite Booking.coms useless customer support. The rooms have recently been refurbished, the hot water hot and everything is spotless. The view over the busy but picturesque Strait is fantastic. Having lived in Indonesia 25 years ago I can honestly say that the food is a good as any home cooked food anywhere with great variation. Sign up for the full catered option. The other house staff are equally helpful and will happily run an errand to pick up supplies as the place is a tad isolated- even they don’t ask or expect don’t forget to tip. While in the area we did some Muck snorkelling with Ibu Feronika from Rumah Selam who operate near bye-it was awesome. Feronika can also help with highland and nature park tours, plus transport to and from Manado. Can highly recommend.

Julian is very friendly host, moreover excellent bird guide and kingfisher king and I enjoyed all our walks for animals in the park. His wife Treisha is a lovely person and outstanding cook smiling all the time. We recommend. See you next time, our friends!

    Pretty homestay (that's getting improved), super friendly staff (Alfrets, nice owner) and very close to the park entrance. Rooms are basic but have AC and okay-ish for a short stay. Trekking was beautiful.

    Very helpful staff at the hotel. Quick response to all questions ahead of our stay. Spacious rooms, delicious food with an eye for the details. The organized tour guide Salat was amazing. With his lifelong experience he guided the way through the forest and showed us all the animals we were looking for in Tangkoko.

    The position of the homestay was outstanding, at the entrance to the Nat.Park. The accommodation is simple air conditioned and clean with a terrace looking over the gardens . Our room only had a cold water shower , but welcomed after a steamy jungle walk th see the amazing Black Macques. The food in the communal open dining area was tasty and adequate . The staff were so friendly and welcoming.

    An absolutely lovely place to stay while visiting Tangkoko National Park. Ana and her team are so wonderful and always so attentive to our needs. 2 weeks before our stay, Ana reached out to tell us all about the accommodation and also informed us about the tours that were available. The rooms, sheets and towels were so clean, and foood… AMAZING. From the scrambled eggs at breakfast to the local dishes during dinner.

    Absolutely incredible homestay. Accommodation was spacious and comfortable. Fantastically located next to the entrance of the park. Food was extremely delicious, plentiful, varied and at a great price (wonderful vegan meals). The tours offered were absolutely brilliant; informative and professional. Our guide was exceptional and found an abundance of animals (would recommend both the day and night walks). Would definitely stay again and would completely recommend to others.

    very nice accomodation in the homestay Garden area - the room is quite spacious and well-furnished. there was also a moscito net and powerful ac. the bathroom was very spacious, too.
