I rented a scooter, so it took me about 20 minutes to travel either way. Local shops are within a few feet. You can leave your car or motorcycle in the driveway garage of the house. As we were driving this location gave us the ability to garage our car right next to the accommodation for a daily fee of 30 euro, no long walks to get it in and out.
