The accommodation was an oasis of peace, with a beautiful environment, gardens, and, most importantly, pools. The rooms were clean, and everything worked perfectly (air conditioning, TV, Netflix). The staff was extremely kind and very helpful. They assigned us a better room than we had booked, with a view of the pool. The lady arranged transportation from the airport to the hotel for us. The food was excellent, and it is possible to order it to the room or by the pool. A clean and quiet beach is located nearby. The accommodation was simply excellent. We had a great stay at Opulent Oasis in Habaraduwa, which felt more like an apartment. It’s a 3-story building, and we stayed on the 3rd floor in a brand-new, spotless apartment. The apartment has 4 bedrooms, all equipped with air conditioners, and 4 bathrooms with hot water. Being the first guests, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The apartment is fully equipped with a small kitchen and utensils, which allowed us to cook our dinner. It also has a dining table, TV, washing machine, gas cooker, fans, A/C, and other furniture, offering excellent value for the price. The rooftop terrace was a nice bonus, with a lovely view to enjoy. The owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly, which made our stay even better. For such a small budget, the apartment exceeded our expectations and was well worth the money. We highly recommend this place for a comfortable and affordable stay.

My stay was incredible, it was my home away from home! I was on a big deadline for work (I was working remotely) and I could not have been in a better place. The WiFi was great, and as I was working, I got little teas, food and so much support that it felt as if I was staying with family. I felt so welcome, when I come back to Sri Lanka, I am staying here again, for sure! I cannot wait! The breakfast and cooking was also SO yummy and delicious. I feel very lucky to have stayed here and thinking back to it, brings a smile to my face

We initially planned a 4-day stay at Samalanka Boutique Hotel, but the captivating allure of this place made leaving impossible, extending our retreat to a full week. Located in a breathtaking locale, the warm hospitality from the staff, Malin (the manager), Sudeera and Sarath, made our experience exceptional. Malin treated us to a nutritious breakfasts featuring fresh fruits, omelet, bread, and spreads. The standout was the exceptional coffee, arguably the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, Pink Elephant in Unawatuna delivers meals promptly at reasonable prices. The option to use the kitchen for personal cooking is also available. Situated approximately three kilometers from Habaraduwa, the hotel provides easy access to essentials like Cargills, restaurants, and the beach. We opted for scooters from Easy Bike, but the staff is more than willing to arrange tuktuks for convenient transportation. For those seeking a relaxing escape in the South Province of Sri Lanka, we wholeheartedly recommend Samalanka Boutique Hotel!

A new and very fresh hotel with exceptional standard in relation to the price. We stayed for 28 nights and would love to return! (We booked our many nights several months in advance, which brought the cost down to $17/night!) Very clean, superbly quiet and efficient A/C, great bathroom, very comfortable beds, bed linen, good wifi etc. The hotel has sea views from the rooms on the west side and over rolling greenery to the east. The private balconies are really big and nice! It is walking distance to everything you could possibly need; about three minutes to the nice beach, restaurants, grocery stores, fruit stores, bakery, doctor's office, clothing shopping etc., about 5-7 minutes to the bus and train station, bookstore, motorbike rental (however, I recommend Easy Bike Rent which is a little further away), mobile phone shops etc. etc. Lahiru, who runs the hotel, is incredibly caring and always available! He really did everything you could think of to make us feel comfortable. In addition to the "usual” hotel service with impeccable cleaning and such, he surprised us with both a fruit basket and fruit drinks. We were also invited to accompany him when he went to a temple nearby where, as an active Buddhist, he showed us every step of the temple visit. Very interesting! One really hot evening the power went out on our floor (a transformer failure in the area). Even though it was dark, Lahiru immediately got on his motorbike and drove all the way from home (about 1 hour drive) so we could move down to another room and have a working A/C. So sweet of him! 🤗 He also has a lot of knowledge about the area - all excursion destinations, transportation, etc. and is happy to help his guests. And it was never about money, just this wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality and kindness! Thank you, Lahiru 🙏🏼

Very good Villa. Very big and spacious. All furniture are news and comfortable. Big beautiful street zone. Very clean house, there is a good wi-fi with high speed. We worked in 2 person without any problems. Owner are very friendly man, who wanted to do our vacation best in out life. He help us a lot of time and drive us to bus station. Good Villa with best owner. We are happy, thank you very much!

Wonderful place! Right above the turtle hatchery which you walk through to get to the beach. The flat had huge rooms which were very clean. Also a kitchen and living room that looks out on the beach. The balcony was also wonderful. Over the moon. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Flat was also close to some nice local restaurants

    We got upgraded to the three room for free , which was very good room. The biggest and nicest room I have stayed in Sri Lanka . Absolutely value for your money. Also the room was clean and very new. The personal was so nice and welcoming us . Would recommend everyone to stay here .

    If tells shortly, "Nirmala Villa is a creation of a person, who identify, breathe of the nature truly".This is a wonderful paradise, which I spent my vacation with happy and relaxation.I think this is the best place for me to the vacation.Foods in Nirmala Villa are very delicious.If you eat onece, definitely you will eat again. 24 hrs service, staff, safety in hotel are very good 100%.Design, cleanliness and comfortable of the rooms are superb.     This is a great little find. The couple went out of their way to make our stay special and the accommodation was superb with a little Kitchenette for simple self catering. The setting on the beach and balcony overlooking the beach was brilliant, the room was beautifully clean and the shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. We chose to have a Sri Lankan breakfast each morning which was delicious. We will definitely return as it’s good value for money and the location is perfect .
