We did not expect much,because of the price was low compared to other places,but men was I wrong. Accomodation is clean and well managed,but what really bought me, was the staff and their dedication to make your stay easy and effortless..big thx to Sanju and his Dad,Avi and rest of the crew,we felt like part of the family there.Great and even beyond value for money. We had a great time…. The place is just amazing.. We wanted to spend a few days to have a rest before another exploring of Sri Lanka… You have to take a boat (5 min) to get to the beach - very good spot for kiting…. We travel with our 8 years old son, so spent couple nice days at the beach. Room was spacious and clean… our special thanks is to Ansalis and Madushan who took an extraordinary care of us and made our stay unforgettable. Bur the whole staff was very friendly and helpful with anything…. THANK YOU 😃

Owner and staff was very kind end helpful. Houses were fresh and clean, beds with mosquito nets. It was nice and comfortable to stay there. 5/5 breakfast was very tasty and there was gluten free option for me:) highly recommend this place

Ram has been an incredible host, making our experience truly amazing. aside from the beauty of this place, the comfort, the equipments made to enjoy without worrying about anything, he and the chef made this stay outstanding. they showed us their garden, we could enjoy learning stuff with them, talking for hours, having all our needs and beyond their priority. really, i would not recommend any other place in the area if you are into bohemian luxury and sharing with the locals.

Dili and Roshan and their family where treating us as their family members. We felt immediately at home at their place. We enjoyed fantastic meals prepared in their own little restaurant. Each meal was prepared with passion! The last evening we enjoyed at a festival together what was a very special moment for us to dive into Sri lankian culture. We recommend them with great pleasure and we wish them all the best for their future plans.

    We had a fabulous stay here for two nights. Sabina was an excellent host, always available to help with advice on places to go. We particularly enjoyed the meals we had in the restaurant which were well thought out and offered travellers something different. Sabina was able to cater for vegan / vegetarians and adapted dishes to suit. A great start to our holiday. A good place for dolphin boat trips.

    This was by far the best accommodation of our trip. Shibi and Dinesh were such great hosts and made us feel very welcome during our stay. It is a really special and calm place. The food was amazing and the kitesurf lessons from the resort next door helped us a lot to learn the first steps. It’s really nice how both resorts let the guests make use of both facilities/activities. That’s also nice for socializing. Would definitely recommend!

    Villa Setha Wadi was a great find with an amazing location right on the lagoon - beautiful pool, lounge chairs & kayaks. Our a/c waterfront ensuite room was spacious & quiet, bed was super comfortable. Food was delicious and the chef was able to veganify all our meals. The staff are extremely accomodation. Overall we had an excellent stay. Matt also is an excellent & very experienced kite instructor, with plenty of equipment in excellent condition.

    Loved the place! Spacious and well appointed room, overlooking the lagoon. Was a great place for us to wind our vacation down. We were the only guests in the resort when we stayed, so we got great attention by Romina and Sasi. Food was good, the views were great and the cats on property were very friendly.

    Felt like home. People are so kind, the food was really good, perfect ending of our vacation, a few days we totally crashed at this place. The pool is amazing and we felt really comfortable and at home. We extended our stay 2 times. Just go there is our advice!

    Excellent place to stay during kite holidays in Kalpitiya. By motorboat I was transported everyday to kite beach and back to the resort, the lunch was brougt at the beach too, the staff of the resort was extremely nice and very helpful, they have a kite center managed by instructor Mr. Matt, who is professional kitesurfing teacher. The food was amazing. Resort is situated right at the kiting lagoon. Recommended !

    The Majestic Beach Retreat with its location, amenities and hospitality is one of the best holiday locations on the Western coastal belt of Sri Lanka. I could truly unwind and relax at this retreat to the sounds of the ocean's waves. Its infinity pool offers beautiful vistas of the setting sun. A place I would return again and also recommend to others. Thank you for making my stay very memorable and special.
