The property is absolutely gorgeous. When you enter from the main door you find yourself in front of a big clean pool, surrounded by a curated big garden with palm trees and beach view. You are literally on the beach where nobody walks by, but some local fishermen. The bedrooms are very big, with each it’s own big bathroom. Also, for the whole stay we had a great local butler who stayed at the villa and was always ready to help. He made us breakfast every day. He drove us to do groceries and cooked lunch for us. He booked us restaurants and arranged taxis when we asked for it. Including two masseuses who came to the villa to massage us. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and we wished we stayed longer 🙏

We enjoyed our stay at Kingfish villa in the month of March 2025. It was a very pleasant time. An optimal location to relax and experience the beautiful beach of Ranna at a distance of ca. 300 m. The owner Raveen is also an amazing person. He is very helpful and knows around Ranna, southern locations of SL and even other locations at wish. Also, there is the possibility to have him as a tour guide. He owns a restaurant as well where the food is exquisite. One can choose a variety of local foods and drinks too. Overall, remarkably good experience.

The bungalow is very comfortable and new, with excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds, well-equipped bathroom, and super-fast internet. Closeness to the main turtle Beach and Rekawa Turtle association, 5 mins walk. Beautifully kept gardens the rooms look onto. Amazingly designed and thought out rooms for such a small area....no one overlooks each other, so you have lots of privacy.. Huge comfy bed and massive walking shower in the bathroom. Many lights to create your own ambiance. Loved our patio with wooden chairs and a separate large table where breakfast is served. Where we watched plenty of birds each morning. Ceiling fan rotated well and air-conditioning was super cold and powerful, rarity on our travels in SL. Decent fridge too. Fantastic local restaurant run by a sweet family called Ruwani 2 mins,walk away. Lastly the owner Tatoo kept us happy with cold cheap beer and water.

Wonderful, very clean accommodation with the most beautiful pool we’ve experienced so far. Very friendly and family-like service, and an incredible variety of exotic wildlife, especially birds. Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. Thanks also for the nice birthday surprise for my daughter! Unforgettable stay!

Really one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. From the rooms, to the service to the hotel area with the pool - everything felt more like a 5-star-surrounding. The manager and the stuff are as helpful as it gets and fulfill wishes you didn't know you even hat. The view from the shower was amazing as well as the rest of the apartment. 10/10 - we would totally come again.
