The space at 4 Seasons Holiday Home was amazing, it was a large house all rooms were spacious. The outside area where we spent much time was lovely, looking onto jungle trees. Mali was a wonderful host making sure our stay was comfortable. She gave us lots of information about the area and where we could go. Mali and her husband Janeke took us in their car to show us all the local restaurants and hotels in Ratnapura where we could eat. Even offered to take us to show the migrating birds settling on the phone wires in the evening, however we opted out as it was raining heavily. Mali is so kind and considerate we will not forget 4 Seasons Holiday Home this is where to stay while visiting Ratnapura and just a short walk to town.

Beautiful hotel with modern clean rooms and an immaculate swimming pool surrounded by jungle scenery. Most importantly, the staff did whatever was needed to make our stay enjoyable. The English Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of fruit and fresh juice. One day we had an early trip with a local guide Sampa Wayo and the breakfast was prepared for us in takeaway containers. Another day we fancied red wine and the staff purchased and delivered one for us immediately. Thank you!

The staff and the host were very friendly and easy going. We appreciates to stay in a local, down-to-earth place, where we could learn a lot about the history of the place and engage with the local community. We chose the place as it offered tours to sapphire mines, and it met oyr expextations!

Nice quiet location. Backed onto rainforest. Nice balcony to watch the thunderstorm from. Big rooms, A/C available. The local guide, Sampa, was an absolute legend and offered to show me around Ratnapura even though I hadn’t previously enquired. He is somewhat affiliated with the accommodation, so he just turned up. Helped me navigate the hospital, and fast. (Needed a vaccination). Spending time with him ended up being a highlight of the trip.

Very demanding accommodation, spacious clean room. The neighborhood exceeded all our needs. The locally prepared food was excellent and plentiful. The whole thing was completed by the kindness and willingness of the staff, thank you for that.
