Exceptionally friendly staff that speak perfect English. I was even helped to find a pharmacy late at night with a walk into the Medina with a staff member, this level of service is truly appreciated and I am thankful. We were also provided a map and directions to all the landmarks, and the best local restaurants. The staff are what make this place exceptional above the rest. The room was exactly as pictured and very authentic for the blue city. Shower worked well. Private parking is in Bab Souk square (a man will walk up as you round the cul-de-sac and direct you up the side street hidden by a barrier) tell him you are with Casa La Hiba and he will drop the price from 40dh to 30dh for overnight parking. This price as of December 2023.

This hotel is a real gem. It is in an amazing location on the edge of the medina that is still accessible by a car but already on pedestrian zone. From here,it is a short walk to the creek, main shopping streets and the main square. You can also go up the mosque for a beautiful view and the path is right by the hotel. The view from the terrace for sunsets is unbelievable. The staff is kind, professional and helpful. Breakfast is very filling and with healthy choices. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The manager is super kind and really takes guest comfort seriously. We got upgraded to a higher level room due to some noisy guests. We did not even ask:). After 1 month of travelling in Morocco, this was top notch experience. Highly recommended and if it is in your budget, splurge on the 3rd floor suite that has direct access to terrace and corner views onto the medina and city. If I knew how comfortable and spectacular it is, I would have booked it right away!

Very quiet, peaceful and extremely well located riad, in the heart of the medina. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive to our every need, whether inside the riad or helping us with restaurant reservations, airport transfers, etc. The terrace is magnificent and the breakfast delicious. If you want to see beauty and ambiance of chefchoan upclose , this is the place, we also had the kitchen , to make tea , we were given slippers to wear inside the property which were moroccan made traditional, I think that was a thoughtful detail. The breakfast was so good , best coffee and traditional breakfast, we are very happy we picked this place for our stay at chefchoan.

    The accomodation was so beautiful! It felt like a step away from staying in modernised hotels. And yet here we still got luxury with culture and heritage. The staff were super helpful and friendly and accommodating with the children. Pros were the decor, the size and comfort of the beds, the terrace which was accessible whenever we wanted, the staff addressing and managing our queries and needs. The breakfast was great too!

    The owners of the accommodation were very friendly and accommodating. We didn't realise that we had missed check-in on Friday evening but they stayed up and welcomed us. Beautiful views over the city and the mountains from the terrace where we had our breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and had lovely artwork. The location was ideal as it was right in the Medina but not far from the Square or Spanish Mosque. We definitely recommend a visit to Chefchaouen!

    Possibly the best value places I have ever stayed. For a low price we had a nice room, in a location just away from the main square, with great breakfast enjoyed on the roof. Early check in was facilitated. Breakfast was one of the best that we had in Morocco despite that this was much cheaper accomodation than anywhere else we stayed.

    This is the place we have stayed in the whole vacation! Never seen such a warm and fuzzy accommodation! We felt like home ! Thanks for everything!!!!! We’ll never forget you! We stayed in the room 5 with our private bathroom. Late check-in is okay, as long as you inform the host. Good express breakfast. Very affordable place and spotless! Amazing garden.
