A really lovely apartment in Chivay. Walking distance to the bus terminal and also to the central square. It's such a lovely little town and staying in this apartment was great - we bought ingredients from the market and cooked it up. A wonderful stay. Also echo what others are saying re: hardness of the beds but they are not unsleepable!

My stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular. Right from the start, I was greeted with the kind of hospitality that makes a traveler feel genuinely welcomed. The staff here are not just friendly; they go out of their way to ensure every guest feels special and well cared for. One of the most notable aspects of this hotel is its cleanliness. Every corner, from the lobby to the rooms, was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The hotel's garden is a true oasis. Beautifully landscaped and meticulously kept, it offered a tranquil space to relax and unwind. The care put into maintaining this area is commendable. Big rooms, and kitchen with everything you need- as described. Located close to the Plaza de Armas and main streets of town. We enjoyed a lovely walk to the bridge, ruins and mirradors and took advantage of the fresh local produce to cook our own food. We’re travelling on a budget so this place was perfect. Alely was an incredible host! Super friendly, very responsive on WhatsApp (this is how pretty much everything seems to be done in Peru- even booking activities and buses). Alely stored our bags for the 3 days while we did the Cañon del Colca walk (we stayed here at the start and end of our trip due to catching the 4M bus directly to Cusco so we didn’t have to go back via Arequipa). When we came back our bags were ready and waiting for us. I would have loved to spend an extra night here to acclimatise as it is a lot higher than Arequipa and you will feel it. Overall we had a great time and felt very comfortable and at home.

We love the time that we spent here. The hosts are great and really helpful. We came in the night with altitude sickness (due to our run over 5.000m on the way here) and hosts helped us a lot to deal with it. They support, help and do all to make our stay comfortable. Apartments are not really modern, but has everything you need. Especially hot water all the time. The food in the restaurant is not expensive and tasty. Bed was huge and comfy. And the nature outside is just gorgeous.

We liked everything about our stay. The hotel is very nice, the bedrooms are comfortable and the staff are the best. Noeli at reception and Arleth at the restaurant were amazing. The fact there’s heating in the bedrooms is also a big plus.

We had a great stay at Colibri Inn, the bed was massive and very comfy, and they gave us jugs of hot water and tea/coffee to make in the room which was great. The absolute best part though was Lizbeth, who greeted us on reception, went out of her way to help us arrange a private taxi tour to see the condors at Colca Canyon, made us an early breakfast before we left and stored our bags for us while we were gone! She was brilliant and is a credit to the hotel.

This stay was amazing. From the whole 2 week trip in Peru this was the best and cleanest bathroom that we experienced. Staff is super friendly and the beds very comfortable. I would definetly recommend staying here, it is also very quiet. We had to take the early bus in the morning so they made breakfast for us extra early.

The young lady at the reception was very helpful and proactive in making our stay comfortable. The bed was really comfortable and big. They kept our things during our trekking in the Colca Canyon. They arranged a vegan breakfast and even prepared some vegan pancakes. Bathroom was small but clean.
