We loved our stay in this hotel. - Spacious and very spacious comfortable rooms and bathroom - Kitchen amenities fully equipped - Loved the swimming pool - Beautiful and calming surroundings - My children specifically loved the playground in front of the hotel where you can pick up the midget golf equipment at the reception and also using the hotel bikes - Good breakfast - Welcoming and very helpful personnel/reception - Parking in front of the door

Their family estate, which houses the accommodations is exquisite - beautiful gardens, rustic, yet modern accommodations, a sparkling pool and just excellent hospitality in a UNESCO World Heritage city. Hugo - who works with Jose, the owner of Villa Margaridi, is a GEM! He is always available to assist in anyway and is just as warm and pleasant as his employers. We cannot wait to come back to this amazing oasis in Portugal.

    Basically everything. It’s in the middle of the city and wveeything is really close. And quiet at the same time. Super clean and very comfortable. It has everything one would need. I spent almost a month there and I had nothing I’d be in a need of. Just a perfect place to stay either it’s a holiday or work.

    Exceptionally charming house. Very narrow, 4 floors - top floor had a bedroom + a bathroom, so full privacy for my adult son - he appreciated that very much. It was an experience in itself staying in such a special, traditional house; it definitely added extra value to our holiday. 3 balconies and a back yard with a very cozy, covered sitting area - I loved having my morning tea there. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of cupboard space for clothes. Well-equipped kitchen. Very good contact with owner. Easy self check-in/check-out.

    We were really pleased with our stay at Casa do Juncal. I always expect to be at least a little disappointed in a hotel or local accommodations, but that was not the case here. Checking in and out was very easy, staff were lovely and the place was attractive and spotless. The complementary breakfast was very nice and the dining room was pretty. The location is amazing.
