We had the top floor appartment with the french windows. The appartment is newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking on the hob. It's a nice bright space. Bed is super comfortable, and hot water and wifi were both excellent. It'[s on a quiet lane located right in the centre of town. Highly recommended. .

First of all the responses and replies from Paula and Marcia were excellent, prompt and informative. Never have we seen such quick responses any time of the day...I was -4hr GMT. The apartment was clean and comfortable...All amenities for a comfortable stay was available. .They were there to greet us and explained everything in detail. They arranged a nice, must visit, cheese making factory. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks once again Paula and Marcia...you made our New Year Bright! This was a wonderful stay that went above and beyond our expectations. The room had a panoramic one way window with the view of the mountains, a sunny terasse, it was clean, big and comfortable. Outside, you can hear the gentle sound of the river. There is even a mini fridge and a coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was spectacular. For all the vegans out there, this was the first place in Portugal that offered vegan options. The host was also super nice and friendly. We had an amazing time.

Upon arriving at this guest house one would wonder where they are. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere but that is exactly the charm of it. We were immeditaely very warmly greeted by Carlos and taken to a lovely room which was immaculate. A bottle of local wine was waiting for us. We were asked if we would like dinner and were then give a few choices. We were there off season and were the only guests in the restaurant so dinner was prepared especially for us and it was fabulous!!! Made with so much love. The same for breakfast. Our table was laid out with so many nice choices and again, just for us. The dinning area is so quaint. Really quite special. After having been surrounded by ship tourists this place was exactly what we were seeking. If you are looking for some peace and quiet and a piece of authentic countryside this is the perfect place.

We loved the location and character of the village. Easy parking on the streets. The house was welcoming the bedroom and toilet were a good size. Good aircon and host was lovely and accommodating.
