Everything is was exceptionally nice. The room is very very comfortable, the property is beautiful and magical with all kinds of fairy lights and cute decorations. The owner and host is thoughtful and kind and very service oriented. The room feels luxurious because the owner clearly thought of all the little details that make a stay not just good, but great. This hotel was the best hotel we have stayed at in Taiwan! It is a short walk up from the bus stop, and is surrounded by the most breathtaking views, imaginable! Whether that be the low, lying clouds or glorious sunshine you will not be disappointed with the views from the hotel! Archie was very welcoming and made us feel at home! The room itself was so clean and comfortable, and the view from the balcony was super! You can see the sunrise and the sunset!! The Internet was very good, and it had a little kitchenette on the side where you can make hot drinks or noodles . Every morning, we also had a delicious cooked breakfast, the first day was omelette, and the next day was a delicious toasted sandwich, and the cups of tea were like tea. You’ve never drank before; really really really delicious!!! We had a lovely evening, chatting with Archie and some guest visiting from Singapore, and although there is a slight language barrier, you never feel awkward talking to him . Archie’s wife and mother were also very kind and generous to us. Another point was mentioning is that this hotel is close to some very great hiking trails! You will never be stuck for places to hike and the views are phenomenal!

The family at the tea farm were so friendly and welcoming, and we had the best food here in our whole trip to Taiwan. It is only 15 minutes drive from the forest railway and there were lots of hiking trails nearby. The room was basic but fine, with a large shared lounge area. we were there when the weather was cold and there was a heater we could use.

Family home with 4 guest rooms. Excellent hosts with attention to every detail to ensure comfort of the guests. We arrived late (after dinner) and it was dark and raining heavily. Hosts came out to greet us with umbrellas and took our luggage to the rooms. Breakfast next morning was excellent and we could not finish. Host packed the balance with extra homemade bread for us to eat during our journey. House and rooms are amazing, comfortable and luxurious. Room rate is steep, but highly recommend stay for special occasion(s).

Our stay at the guesthouse was truly amazing! The place is beautiful and very comfortable. We had the opportunity to visit the family's tea farm. We also bought their tea - which is delicious - to bring back as gifts for our family and friends.

Had 3 rooms as a group. Great that there is a lift for people with difficulty climbing stairs. Very nice wood based furniture. Extremely warm family running this B&B. Welcomed us to try their tea and drink tea with the entire family during our 1 night stay there. Easy check out by leaving key in common living area.

The location was amazing and the married couple who ran the minsu was exceptionally kind. We had travelled to Alishan via public transport, so the couple offered to drive us from the minsu into town for dinner, and then back again. They were so welcoming, and were also able to accomodate our dietary restrictions (both vegetarian) for breakfast, which was very delicious! We were only able to stay for 1 night, but there's so much to see at Alishan, so we're definitely looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Great views from the balcony and very cozy rooms. The hospitality of our host was exceptional. They picked us up and dropped us off to the local bus stop and even took us to an incredible viewpoint at sunset. We had great tea and conversation and will never forget our stay.

The location is very scenic situated on a hill side surrounded by tea and coffee plants. The room was clean, large and very comfortable with modern amenities. The home cooked food was sensational and delicious. The host are very welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to make my stay as best as possible.
