We loved the attention to detail by the staff: Agnes and Christine in reception, Michael the manager, Evans the consulting chef, Matthew, Grace, Barack & Co. We felt like we were home away from home. The food was the best we've had in a long, long time that none of us wanted to eat elsewhere! The rooms were spotless, and very comfortable.

We've never been to a more perfect place before. It's a cozy little spot, well-planned, sitting right on the beach, and there's this seamless connection between the villas and the beach that feels just right. It was our fantasy to have a bungalow on the beach with sand right to the door - Evergreen was exactly this dream in real life! We had a downstairs bungalow and the size was really big, with a big bed and bathroom. The beach is right in your door and being the north end of Bwejuu it’s really quiet, not a lot of people around, just tranquility. It’s easy to get a taxi to the party area of Paje but this is a different world. They designed the shared space really nice with comfy beds, sofa and table around the beach and we met some nice people there too. A couple of cute cats, dogs and even a friendly pair of monkeys also live here. Usually I am not a dog person but the ones here were quiet friendly and not intimidating!! We got engaged on the beach at Evergreen’s pretty swing looking into the sea - so it’ll hold a place in our hearts forever! Thank you Claudia!

Every single person, from the front desk to housekeeping and beyond, was genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel truly at home, which is something you rarely find, even in top-rated hotels. A special thank you to Vee, who made us feel at home from the very first evening with her warmth and kindness. Amos and Christina were also amazing, always so welcoming and helpful. And truly, every single staff member we encountered was just as wonderful. It felt like staying with family rather than just a hotel. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, offering a perfect balance to feel comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our stay as relaxing as possible. Another standout feature was the beautiful and impeccably clean pool area. Whether we wanted to take a refreshing swim or simply lounge and soak up the sun, it was the perfect place to unwind. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the people. The warmth, the smiles, and the genuine care from the staff made this one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. It is an amazing accomodation! Really beautiful and gives you a holiday feeling! In front of the sea with confortable beds to enjoy the day at the beach! Mr.Ally the manager made us feel home! Perfect service and extremely friendly! The food is also really good with a fish from the BBQ every night! On Fridays the have an African night with great music and food! To conclude: this is a must place to stay in Zanzibar!

Pretty new accommodation, so the rooms are contemporary (nice bathrooms!). Everything is very clean and well kept. The whole staff is just lovely, caring and attentive. Yummy food is available as well! I just stayed for a weekend and hardly left the premises. The beach ist just a 2-minutes-walk away.

We stayed at Xanadu as part of our honeymoon trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. It was certainly our most luxurious accommodation, no detail is left out. Ismael who looked after us during our stay couldn’t do enough for us and really made us feel at home during our stay. The food was also incredible, definitely a highlight of our stay

The accommodation was really amazing! My friend and I enjoyed staying at the bungalow although it was just for one night. The people are all super kind and loving and they did everything in their powers to help us when we lost my friend‘s phone. The view was beautiful and we were able to go to the blue lagoons using bicycles (5$ pp for a whole day). The food was absolutely amazing too and we recommend this place for sure! And we also watched the sunrise in the morning.

One of the best location where we have stayed in our exotic vacations. Very friendly for families, everything new and very clean. We traveled with our 2 year old daughter and the host was very nice to provide everything that we needed for her. The hotel is super close to the beach, the staff is very friendly and kind, the food is amazing. They always have fresh catch to offer, the food is tasty and the fruits delicious. I highly recommend and we will definitely come back here in the future.
