everything perfect with shindzela. Staff very helpfull, answered all the questions after booking and during our stay. All the safaris started on time and our guide Sam did everything he could to give us the best experience always with a smile on his face. We saw 4 of the big fives on first safari and all in second one, but all experiences are different one from another and it also depends on how lucky you are. All the food were delicious and everything was very organized with clear rules. The tents are confortable with private bathroom and hot water. Water hole in front of shindzela attracted lot of elephants, antilopes and also hyenas, it's a good bonus on stay there

The perfect stay for your African Safari adventure. Expert guides making for excellent game drives - not only did we see the Big 5 & more common/uncommon animals, but we also learnt about real-time tracking, interpreting the sounds, and understanding animal behaviour. Paul & Release were exceptional, and I can not recommend them enough! What also sets the property apart from other safari resorts is the variety and quality of food. Kudos to kitchen staff for providing an elaborate spread that covered all major food groups, was tasty and not repeated. And all this at a relatively affordable rate, compared to similar rated properties. 100% recommended this stay!

Marius and Erik were the best guides. We learnt so much from them in the walking safari. The staff is lovely. The retreat is divine and has a lovely relaxing area both by the pool and in a veranda. I'd highly recommend you stay here for one night before checking in at their private game reserve for more game drives.

Stunning tents with tasteful interior and spectacular view right at the waterhole watching the hippos and wildlife. Delicious healthy food and a huge variety of drinks to choose from. Great courteous friendly staff and service. Incredible game drives with highly qualified Rangers.

Everything from start to end. The place is stunning. The rooms, the shower outside, the pool, the sounds, the service was beyond, the Safari guides were just unbelievable (Patrick found any animal and Sincle was explaining Everything what an outstanding knowledge). Don't hesitate just go worth every penny. The Massage was one of the best I've ever done.

The choice of food and its preparation were excellent. Aaron knew what we would need after an early or late game drive. He specialises in homemade bread and pastries. Yum.The lodge is small and intimate. Perfect for personalised game drives. It shares an unfenced border with Kruger NP. The animals roam free around the lodge. The accommodation was elegant and well-appointed. Sunday, our guide was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. It was very special that Aaron, Victoria and Sunday surprised us with a wedding anniversary dinner for two. The elephant loping around in the (near) background and the hyena watching, hoping for leftovers, just added to the authentic atmosphere!
