It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

In the evening, guests can sip a drink at the piano bar or on the property’s terrace. Guests can also relax in the hotel’s lounges or along its outdoor dipping pool.

La Rochelle Aquarium and the Beach are just 1.5 km from the hotel, while Ile-de-Ré Bridge is a 15-minute drive away. Charging stations for electric cars are available at this property. staff were amazing and the hotel was perfect !

We only stayed one night but I could imagine a whole summer in these settings.

Beautiful apartment in the centre of the town. It’s nicely decorated and has all facilities needed. Tea and coffee, good shower, separate toilet and a nice room. My husband didn’t sleep well -IKEA furniture- but I did, so no complaints.

It is set 40 km from Saintes Train Station and features a lift. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We loved the lovely, spacious apartment. Everything we needed was available to cook meals.
