Porthmadog
Built by a visionary architect in 1925, Portmeirion Village & Castell Deudraeth overlooks the beautiful Dywryd Estaury. Located just south of the coastal village of Porthmadog on a private peninsula, the hotel offers a spa and wellness centre, an on-site mini market, a bar and a restaurant. Love the Castle and the Priors. The room no. 6 in the hotel did not have a fridge and we would have appreciated to have a fridge. If we plan to come back we would stay at the Castle or at the Priors. We found that the price for the hotel was too expensive compared to the one at the Castle. For the same, the room at the Castle was much better. But that said, we enjouée a lot our stay. Personnel was great.

The en suite rooms have splendid lakeside or garden views and guests can also stay in the adjacent accommodation, converted from old farm buildings. All rooms have TVs, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities. The location of the hotel was amazing, so picturesque. There are hiking trails close by or if you wish to be more laid back you can chill by the lake or in the community area of the hotel. I wish we stayed longer.

Plas Tan-Yr-Allt was a beautiful country house to stay for our golfing holiday. Mark was a wonderful host full of great ideas of what to see and do in this amazing part of Northern Wales. The house is beautifully decorated and our room was huge with an amazing bathroom and lovely garden view. We would highly recommend Mark & Howard’s County House to stay for their warm hospitality, delicious breakfast and fabulous accommodation.
We stayed there for 2 nights. We booked a cabin(me, my hubby and 2 kids) and a hut (my parents). The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. My kids love the big field in front of our cabin where they can play hide and seek, and football there. My parents love the peaceful environment and nature surrounding around us. Everything is perfect. The price is very reasonable. Definitely 10/10. Highly recommended for family trips.
The pod was very clean and obviously very new. Very well equipped with cooker, microwave, tv, plenty of seating, pots and pans, croquery and cutlery. Plenty of hot water and heating was very good. There was a view of the mountains from the lounge/kitchen area. I liked the peaceful rural location, though as it was the end of October it would be different in the main season. I would definitely stay again. I liked this style of holiday as usually I have stopped in B&B, hotel accomodation
Everything amazing. One of the best accommodations I’ve ever stayed in. I cannot fault anything and in one of the most amazing locations in the world, Snowdonia
Excellent location. Extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped property. Collecting the keys from the gallery below was very easy and we were given a parking pass for the car park a few minutes walk away. Jane (the owner of the gallery and the holiday accommodation) was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very spacious - there were four of us but it does sleep six - and contained everything that we needed for a relaxing stay. The views of the castle and sea were spectacular even from the bath!
This was a last minute booking for our family and the first time at the resort; we were not disappointed with the holiday as a whole. The booking in staff were friendly and welcoming and our accommodation well positioned to take in the amazing views across the Welsh mountain terrain. Inside the accommodation was comfortable and well equipped for our 2 night stay. We are going to rebook for August.
