Excellent place, all the necessary facilities, clean. The inner courtyard is very beautiful, green and full of flowers. The breakfast was great and they serve it to your room. There is a parking place available. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Couldn't recommend it more.

Mount Edgcumbe offers accommodation in Royal Tunbridge Wells, overlooking Tunbridge Wells Common. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar, which also features an outdoor seating area. The room was large and beautifully decorated, with a roll top bath in the room - plus a lovely en-suite shower room. The food in the pub downstairs was excellent, and the pub itself was cosy and welcoming. Such a delicious and plentiful breakfast was included in the room price. It was the staff who made our stay though, they were all SO friendly and helpful!

There are little surprises to look forward to. If you want to walk to the castle you can do so by walking a few minutes up to Connaught Park and taking a gentle uphill stroll through it, avoiding the traffic on the road running parallel.
