We also had a small bottle of wine and some chocolate when we arrived! Great experience again.

The communication with the host was quick and efficient. We used it as a place to crash after our late-night arrival. It was a quick bolt ride to the place and then in the morning, the host advised us to take a train to the city center, which was easy enough.

Situated just 5 minutes from Budapest Ferihegy Airport, the Budapest Airport Hotel Stáció Superior offers airport transfer. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Parking is available. The surrounding garden has a pond. I was travelling alone with my 3 kids, so I loved the airport shuttle service as we had a short overnight stay before our flight the next day. We paid a bit extra, but it was more than worth it for the shuttle service and the excellent breakfast. Our flight was delayed and we arrived around 2am at the hotel. The reception were kind and welcoming, and I booked our shuttle for the airport for the next afternoon. 4 of us shared a good-sized room, which was lovely and quiet. We could see that the hotel had a great sized pool, which we would definitely utilise had we had a longer layover. The next morning, the kids ate until they were fit to burst. It was a small but plentiful breakfast made to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. When I asked what time we needed to check out, the receptionist told me there was no rush and whatever time suited!

The HÉV Suburban Railway Station is 500 metres from the Mathias Rex, private parking is available upon request for free. The place is very nice and the staff is really helpful. We needed to postpone our travel and despite the fact the reservation was fixed via booking, we got the option to come later. The rooms were nice, new and clean. Selection for breakfast was also good. The place is close to the city center with many restaurants. One can park the car in the yard, reservation is needed. Value for money is simply great.
