The location is peaceful and beautiful, right by the lake — perfect for relaxing. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What made this place special is the heart behind it. The owner, Pak Ali, is a kind and inspiring person. He also runs a foundation for children with cleft lips in Sumatra — which made my stay feel even more meaningful. Upstairs, there’s a vegetarian café with delicious food. They grow some of their ingredients on-site (farm-to-table concept), and I was blown away by the haloumi sandwich – they even import the cheese from the UK! It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place that stays with you. I’d definitely come back if I visit Toba again.

There are in good conditions and with a full tank. - Good restaurant next door, for your breakfast. We'll book here again if we visit again Samosir island.

Habitación enorme, está todo muy nuevo, súper limpio, agua caliente. La ubicación estupenda y el restaurante, aunque sólo desayunamos, también nos encantó.

The location is fantastic, the host is fabulous! direct access to the lake for swimming. 2 bedrooms, atlhough in the description it looks that there is only one, but there are 2. Do not hesitate to book! The house is very clean also. We had a great time here!

Ruma Kaca Simanindo Bed&Breakfast está a 2,3 km de Playa Batu Hoda y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, zona de playa privada y salón de uso común. Ruma Kaca was a real surprise! We were warmly welcomed by Tiolina (owner) and accompanied to our room and she explained everything. The room and the whole property are very lovingly decorated. The room is located in a former colonial house and has a great view of the lake. It's like staying in a living museum. The food (dinner and breakfast) was also delicious and very good. As there is also a café in Ruma Kaca, the coffee was wonderful. In her free time, Tiolina sat down at her sewing machine and sewed beautiful hair bands. Tiolina took us to Paromanang the next day and we visited the local market with her. Unfortunately, we didn't have any more time as we had to continue travelling.

Toba Boi está en Tuk Tuk. El hostal o pensión dispone de vistas a la montaña y terraza. En el hostal o pensión, las habitaciones están equipadas con un balcón con vistas al lago. Tanto la habitación como el baño son muy amplios, cómodos y modernos. Se nota que es una guesthouse de reciente apertura pues todo está en muy buen estado y de reciente construcción. La cama es grande y cómoda. Aunque las habitaciones no disponen de ventilador o aire acondicionado, las noches suelen ser bastante frescas en la isla y no son necesarios. Si abres ligeramente la puerta o la ventana durante el día corre el aire y se está muy bien. Las habitaciones del piso de arriba disponen de una terraza compartida muy amplia con vistas excelentes. Todas las habitaciones tienen una pequeña entrada exterior con sillas para pasar el rato y algunas habitaciones disponen de incluso un pequeño balcón. Proporcionan toalla, botellita de agua, papel higiénico y un pequeño tendedero para la ropa. Personal muy amable con buen nivel de inglés y dispuestos a ayudar en lo que sea necesario. En un pequeño paseo de 10-15 minutos llegas a la zona donde se concentran más bares y restaurantes en Tuktuk, aunque en el propio alojamiento o incluso cerca tienes también muchas opciones para comer o tomar algo. El precio es muy económico para la calidad de las habitaciones.
