Mansuar Raja Ampat Bungalows heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een bar in Kri. The property is very well maintained. The owner is amazing, he was there all the time and helped us with everything that we needed. The staff is positive, always available and helpful. The food was nice, especially considering the location. I also recommend the diving center Yambuba recommended from the home stay.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in deze prachtig gelegen homestay. Mario is een uitstekende gastheer, die er alles aan doet om ervoor te zorgen dat je een prettig verblijf hebt. We hebben in verschillende homestays verbleven, maar hadden gewild dat we hier waren gebleven. Als we opnieuw zouden mogen boeken dan zouden we hier onze volledige tijd in Raja Ampat doorbrengen en vanuit hier excursies doen. Doordat er voldoende gasten in de homestay verblijven vallen de prijzen van de trips per persoon ook mee, omdat je met meer mensen de boot kunt delen. Ook hier neemt Mario het voortouw in.

Wai resort is a little paradise, with comfortable beach-view bungalows just few meters from the coral reef. The staff is amazing, starting from Sidi who helped in every occasion and took great care of us. The menu is Italian based which is a plus, but also local dishes are available and all the kitchen staff is superb. I strongly recommend the resort also for divers and snorkels, best coral reef ever.

I stayed in the Sunrise cabin overlooking the sea, and the whole time I had to pinch myself. It exceeded my expectations. The reef was dreamy. The staff. The rest of the guests. Silence and peace...you couldn't ask for more. Oh yes...the dive center was very professional. I know I'll be back.

Vanaf het eerste moment hebben we ons thuisgevoeld bij Adin, Penny en Ekko. Wat een gastvrijheid! Eerlijk, meedenkend qua tours, goede communicatie vooraf en Engelssprekend (wat niet vanzelfsprekend is in Raja Ampat). Het eten is heerlijk en de wc/douche zijn superschoon. Keep up the good work! Dear James and family, Thank you so much for making our stay in Batanta so comfortable. We will always remember your kindness, our adventure at the waterfall and swimming with manta rays 🫶🏻 The home stay is exactly as described, really comfortable bed, cold water to shower and wonderful panorama. In front of the stay there is a coral reef where you can snorkel. We saw nurse sharks, stingrays, thousands of fish and beautiful coral formations. Somedays also dolphins visited us. If you wish you can do other activities like going to the nearby village which is one of the last traditionally built one in raja ampat. We went with James to swim with manta rays which was a great success as we saw two circling around for at least half an hour. Also, there are two waterfalls with a beautiful mangrove forest which is 30 mins by boat, we swam there and saw a bit of the jungle. The food was excellent, we were really happy to try local fish. It always had enough veggies, rice and egg tortillas. Even our vegetarian friends were satisfied. For the afternoon coffee we got freshly baked cakes. PRO tips for travelers: - Bring your own snorkeling equipment - Don’t litter and take your trash back with you to Waisai. At the port you can throw it away. - Be mindful about water usage - Use biodegradable hygiene products if possible - They don’t speak much English but for us it made it the experience even more authentic. if you need get an offline translation app

Our 3 nights stay at Mares Homestay was absolutely wonderful! The level of cleanliness was exceptional — everything spotless and perfectly maintained. The family was a dream of hospitality, and their children were truly a gift to be around. The place itself is not only beautiful but also very well equipped, and the food was incredibly good — every meal felt homemade with care. Towels and bed sheets were very good quality, and we appreciated the mosquito nets for extra comfort. We truly cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you!

Friwen Mangrove Eco Lodge in Yennanas Besir biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee, een tuin, een terras en een bar. This was one of our favourite places to stay anywhere! There were so many reasons why: 1. Rashid and Eka, the owners, were amazing hosts. We quickly felt like we were part of the family. Rashid is passionate about Raja Ampat's underwater life and took us on amazing tours. We saw such incredible sights. 2. The bungalows are located on a spectacular reef. You can see so much by snorkelling directly from your bungalow steps. 3. The staff were wonderful! (And great karaoke singers!) 4. There are only three bungalows so far and all the guests eat together for lunch and dinner. We got to know wonderful people from around the world. 5. We spent a week here and a week at a much more expensive resort and this one came out tops for value by far. 6. A village is nearby which was really interesting to visit. 7. Note that the location near mangroves is a positive. We experienced no significant insect issues here and the mangroves harboured amazing fish life.
