Port Aran House is one of the island jewels for sure. The help-yourself breakfast is amazing . It’s close to town and a nearby good restaurant. We came on the afternoon ferry and immediately rented a couple of bikes for the afternoon from Aran Bike Hire who took our bags to PAH. Kevin arranged for us with luggage to get to the ferry. A magical visit.

This home is an easy walk from the ferry. The host was very reachable via email. This is an entire two bedroom home that you are renting. The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you would like to cook a meal, it is definitely possible. However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

I loved that the property was beach front! It was so relaxing waking up next to the water. The sauna was a great touch, we used it both days and it was such a treat! Also the sunrise is absolutely amazing from the property.

Set on Aran Islands 6-5 km from Kilronan port, Aran Walkers Lodge features a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. We offer a complete complimentary breakfast. Lovely stay, Brenda and Sean were really taking good care of us, bikes were in excellent condition too and location was brilliant to walk to the "wormhole"

The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and so cozy that we almost didn't even want to go outside to walk around in the rain. The shower was fantastic. Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Penny is a wonderful host. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was great.
