Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. This charming country house is set in beautiful mature gardens with a 9-hole golf course. Hotel staff has been very kind to us. The room was clean and everything was as expected. We enjoyed our breakfast.

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking.

The Cabra Castle Hotel was built in 1760 and has high ceilings, grand staircases and historic hallways. I stayed for a wedding and loved the castle and their staff so much I booked a second night. I have never stayed somewhere with staff who are so genuinely helpful and wonderful at their jobs. This also extends to the staff at the wedding. Food was fantastic and plentiful throughout the stay.

Hotel Kilmore has modern, well furnished rooms, with warm decor. Features include a TV and contemporary en suite facilities. An inclusive full English breakfast is provided. Very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, to be appreciated in rainy days especially. Food in the pub was good, breakfast offered a buffet along wth a menu to choose from, portions were quite satisfying.

The Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has elegant, individually decorated rooms with stunning countryside views. They feature en suite bathrooms and include flat-screen LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi. We loved everything: location, facilities, staff, comfort, beauty of the surroundings, swimmingpool, room (double king), food, walking paths. Farnham hotel is one of the most relaxing place we have ever been.

The host was kind enough to leave us some bread, cheese and breakfast options. They also allowed us to make a late late check in
