It exceeded other 5 star properties I’ve visited at every turn. The staff were incredibly efficient, friendly, and relaxed. Especially nice touches: front desk staff accompany you to your room at check-in and complete documents there, for comfort, and give an overview of your room. The room was luxurious without being cavernous, amenities generous, excellent minibar options, and very comfortable robes. The 1911 restaurant was a welcome respite and served wonderful Continental and Indian dishes. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully orchestrated. The hotel bookstore was a precious and well-curated little gem. The concierge was unfailingly helpful and the spa was like a dream to escape the New Delhi smog. The hotel’s art collection was of real interest and the overall vibe was delightful.

Built in 1903, Maidens Hotel showcases 19th century colonial charm and architecture. It has an outdoor pool, fitness centre and features a coffee shop which extends into a charming, open courtyard. The hotel is beautiful, the room is very spacious and comfortable! The breakfast is excellent. The food at the hotel restaurant is delicious. But what we liked most was the service from the staff. We were treated like kings and all our needs were met. We spent New Year's Eve at the hotel and it was a wonderful party. We will never forget it!! Thank you to all the staff for the days we spent in Delhi.

Taj Mahal, New Delhi, is a luxury 5-star deluxe hotel that has recently undergone a complete renovation, preserving its timeless appeal while incorporating contemporary charm. The Taj is fabulous. We loved every thing. I’ve stayed in a Taj Club suite. The Club lounge cocktails hour was a delight. Afternoon tea was delicious and the breakfasts were great. The service was second to none.
