Chakzot garden house se encuentra en Leh, a 18 min a pie de Shanti Stupa y a 700 metros de Soma Gompa. Set in the Karzoo away from the touristy area but a short walk to everything. Very peaceful with a lovely garden and fabulous owners. A true Homestay. We had the corner balcony room with a view of the Leh monastery. Try their delicious home cooked food made from what they grow. Highly recommend.

Raybo Hostel - Serene stay with 5 mins walk from the main market, en Leh, ofrece alojamiento solo para adultos con jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. I absolutely loved my stay at Raybo. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. As an added bonus they have a dog who is super cute. Everyone that I met there was lovely and created a great vibe in the communal spaces. It's located only a short walk away from the main square. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the hostel itself was easy to find thanks to the directions they provide. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Oh, I don't take hot showers but I think that may not always be available based on what my roommates had said. I think you need to plan what time you'll take a shower if you want to ensure you'll have access to hot water.

Great place to stay in Leh and meet other travelers. The family is very welcoming and they have a nice garden in front. They can arrange taxi to other destinations.

Julay Guest House, que cuenta con jardín, terraza y vistas al río, se encuentra en Leh, a 19 min a pie de Shanti Stupa. The room was great with very hot water and plenty of space. The balcony was good too. The location was just 5 minutes from the centre.

Rabyang Guest House and Homestay se encuentra en Leh, a 15 min a pie de Shanti Stupa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, wifi gratis, servicio de habitaciones y guardaequipaje. Las instalaciones, con habitaciones grandes y un pequeño jardín donde relajarse. Sobretodo la paz y la tranquilidad del sitio, a 4 minutos del centro de Leh, pero en una zona aislada donde se llega por un camino entre huertos de 40 metros que te adentra en la Leh original. Y destacar también la excelente amabilidad de la familia que gestiona el guest house.

Rock Castle Residency se encuentra en Leh, a 2,3 km de Shanti Stupa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. What a wonderful place to stay and even more wonderful hosts... At first we booked this stay only for one night, so we could reset after a series of flight from Europe and a sleepless night spent at the DEL airport. They welcomed us early in the morning and provided us with a calm room, two large bottles of water and a welcome tea. Since we arrived way earlier than check-in time, our room was not ready for moving in, so they provided us with the back-up room, so we could take a rest. We liked their hospitality so much that we immediately booked two more nights at the Castle Rock, so we could acclimatize properly before continuing our trip in Ladakh. On the next day they moved us over to a bigger room with balcony. Rooms are renovated and equipped with everything a western traveler could wish. They even have a working desk if you wish to stay for a longer period and work from there. The bathroom is large and of course it has 24/7 hot water. They have an in-house restaurant for guests and prepare variety of meals on demand. Even late in the evening. Most of the ingredients come from the garden next to the hotel - you can even see the cook going to the garden to pick vegetables for the meal while you wait. The staff is truly wonderful. The owner is very kind and helpful, but two members of the staff from Darjeeling (don't know their names) really stand out. They are so kind, polite and helpful and really want to make you feel at home. In the end of our Ladakh trip we came back there to stay for two more nights. So in the end, what was the "solution for the first night" ended up being our second home in Leh for five nights. + Well furbished rooms + Very nice garden for relaxation + Helpful and kind staff + In-house restaurant + 24/7 hot water and electricity (back-up generator) + Provide ILP for traveling around Ladakh + Two cute dogs + Market across the street + Located in a relatively calm place, 10 minutes walk from the Leh main market

I had an excellent experience staying at Lhachik Guesthouse. I had only planned to stay for a few days prior to trekking, but do to an injury ended up staying for about weeks and am very happy I did. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. They have a comfortable rooftop with great views and good chai is always available. Dinner is available at a reasonable price and is excellent. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. It is located in a tranquil neighborhood within close walking distance to everything of interest. It will be the first place I look to stay next time I am in Leh.
