El Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya se encuentra en Kusatsu. El alojamiento está situado a 10 minutos a pie de Kusatsu Yubatake y de la terminal de autobuses de Kusatsu-Onsen. La situación del hotel es inmejorable y el personal fue super amable y atento, incluso llegamos nos dejaron una nintendo retro conectada a la televisión para poder jugar aunque llegamos tarde. Nos enseñaron a usar el onsen privado de nuestra habitación porque el agua viene hirviendo de la montaña. Aunque no se contrate la habitación con baño privado, el hotel tiene tres onsen privados que los huéspedes pueden usar. Incluso nos llevaron en coche a la estación de autobuses porque había empezado a nevar. También tienen dispensador de cafe, te y una maquina expendedora de bebidas así como microondas para los huéspedes en la zona común. Si volvemos a Kusatsu seguro que repetimos hotel.

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn, que está a 47 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani y a 15 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane, ofrece habitaciones en Kusatsu. Pequeño hotel bien renovado con una bonita área común y un par de bañeras privadas ( para 2) con agua termal. Está muy limpio y en una zona tranquila, residencial. Los WC y duchas son compartidas, pero hay dos en cada planta y están muy limpios .Es un sitio recomendable.

Okiya Guest House & Tapas Bar se encuentra en Kiryu, a 35 km de Estadio de rugby de Kumagaya, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. The guesthouse is so charming and the hosts Yuko & Gabriel are so nice and accommodating. Gabriel who is the chef is so attentive in preparing a great breakfast set suitable for Muslims. They also provide free shuttle to and fro Kiryu station which is much appreciated. Definitely will stay here again! :)

This guesthouse is hidden gem during our 2 night stay at Kusatsu onsen with only 7-8 rooms & the environment is very cozy. The guesthouse was newly renovated & everything like new. We booked 4pax stay & the rooms condition is excellent. The staff service is good. We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 está en Takasaki, a 28 km de Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. While the location was a bit out of the way (roughly 25min drive from Takasaki station), it was in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom. The room we had was the biggest out of all the places we stayed in Japan, was clean and comfortable, and had a private garden with covered deck and outdoor bath, which was absolute bliss after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The hospitality shown to us by the staff was exceptional, and we had no problem communicating through limited Japanese/English. They served traditional meals, which were beautifully presented and a delight to eat, having small servings of lots of different things. We made use of the free bicycles and had a great time exploring the area while getting a bit of exercise.

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) está en Kusatsu, a 45 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani y a 14 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Todo estaba muy cuidado, el personal fue muy amable, y la ubicación es perfecta. El desayuno tradicional estaba delicioso. Fue el hotel que más nos ha gustado de nuestro viaje por Japón. 🥰

Chigira Jinsentei está en Shibukawa, a 46 km de Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y bar. The food was really good, the onsen was excellent and no complaints about the location!

Minakamisansou se encuentra en Minakami, a 36 km de Estación de esquí Gala Yuzawa, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Stunning location, amazing food, wonderful hosts! We had two night here for our honeymoon and we loved everything about it. The staff were so kind, helpful, and patient. We had a massage and a facial organised by the hotel and they were both great. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. This was one of my favourite stays during my trip to Japan! Our twin room was cosy, comfortable and so clean. The beds were the comfiest we had in Japan; I had the most relaxing sleep while staying here. We absolutely loved the breakfast we had, and everyone at the hotel was so kind and friendly. Their hospitality was the highlight of the trip! We stayed two nights and the chef made us a different meal each morning, and took us through the dishes as he brought them to us, and we were given delicious welcome sweets and matcha when we arrived. The breakfast room was so cosy with a fireplace and free coffee and tea. The location is excellent and easy to find; it was only a couple of minutes walk to the bus terminal and to the Yubatake, which is where most of the shops and restaurants are located. The four private onsen are also wonderful. We got to try out two, and we never found that we had to wait or miss out on using one of them when we wanted to. I loved the little baskets containing towels, pyjamas and toiletries that we were given. There are plenty of toiletries available in each of the onsen, and the pyjamas were so comfortable I wish I could have brought a pair home!
