Although somewhat limited in English, the staff was very committed to helping us in any matter. Definitely recommend visiting the lounge on the 10th floor for drinks (some are free in the evening) and a very pretty small shop, full of locally sourced products (culinary and small arts). After our evening Onsen round, the hotel offered amazing Soba to close the night. We took the breakfast in the morning and were not disappointed, as it features plenty of very delicious options.

Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Such a beautiful, classic Japanese house. it wss preserved immaculately. It was in a very tiny little town, but the owner let me know ahead of time so I brought food with me. The house was just so lovely to spend time in

The staff were really friendly and made us feel at home, the location was excellent and central, and the room was clean and comfortable. The snacks were a great touch after a long day of travel. We will definitely love to stay again in the future.

Inase Otsu Machiya Bed and Breakfast, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is situated in Otsu, 10 km from Daigo-ji Temple, 11 km from Shoren-in Temple, as well as 11 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and wonderfully presented!

You get the full japanese experience when you land including traditional Japanese breakfasts and dinners, the dinners are amazing so take the half board. The rooms are big, beautiful and facilitated and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. It is located about 15 minutes by train outside of Kyoto but if you like to leave the crowds behind at night it's worth the commute.

The facility is so new and very well maintained, it's way way way beyond my expectation. It's like moving to a brand new house, and everything is all setup and ready for you.
