Classic charming pension with the most friendly owners! The private onsen across the street is incredible, I had it to myself every night, and there is an option for breakfast. The room was perfect for two of us, and Papa was so kind to drive us to and from the Myokokogen station and the mountains, and also on some errands which was so kind. It feels like you are stepping into a place that can’t be created, a piece of personality.

Mieko was great - so easy to ask information from and she then made multiple bookings for us. location was perfect, facilities including Onsen, guest lounge and breakfast were great.

We travelled as a family of 9. From 84 to 7 years old. Green Bell suited us perfectly. Grandma was happy and safe in the downstairs bedroom and the kids were happy to bounce up and down the stairs. The Lodge was perfectly appointed with more than enough cosy bedding and pillows. The kitchen had every little thing we needed and we were toasty warm despite the heavy snow outside. It is obvious that great care has been taken in preparing the Lodge for guests and we consider ourselves very lucky to have found the Lodge in time for our holiday. The only caution is distance from the ski fields. It is not terribly far but a car is definitely necessary. Again, Green Bell, Lodge 4 was excellent. We only wished we had been able to stay longer…

David was so kind to pick us up from the station and also drop us off in town for dinner. Great hospitality, small onsen but really nice. We enjoyed our stay very much.
