They even stored something in the fridge for us before we checked in, and gave us free ice tea to bring with us at check out. The annex we booked was spacious and beautiful. The private onsen was also really great, and both dinner and breakfast was tasty with a generous portion. We would definitely recommend stay here!

We had a slight issue figuring out how to keep our onsen hot and it was fixed right away. I completely recommend staying here. Every room has its own private bath, and all the rooms are separate buildings. It’s so private and relaxing. We accessed the property with a car and it was incredibly easy. We didn’t opt for the kaiseki dinner, but breakfast was fantastic!

Accommodation was super comfortable and the bed is big! 3 rooms, 2 rooms with 2 super single beds and 1 room with tatami setup. The place was so clean and well-equipped. The host has been very helpful too whenever I had questions, deeply appreciate. Overall we enjoyed it a lot!

Ideally situated in the Yufuin Onsen district, this hotel provides a spa and wellness centre, as well as a hot spring bath. The property is non-smoking and is located 25 km from Beppu Station. This is THE best place in Yufuin. It was really easy to check in. Yes it's a bit further away from the city centre which makes it a bit more difficult to get to if you don't have a car (you can walk it or take a taxi up there) but it has the most epic view of the mountain. There are two onsens that everyone at the hotel can use, but they are effectively private as once you are in them you lock the door and you can have them to yourselves. The water is fantastic. Refreshing and makes you feel very relaxed. I would stay here at the drop of a hat again. Also make sure you walk up to Oogosha shrine (only 5 mins away) where you can get the experience of visiting a HUGE cedar tree temple and a bamboo forest that is 10x better than Arashiyama.
