Very clean, great facilities and good provision of anything you might need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the beds and public spaces are well kept. The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! But the real highlight is the villa itself. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the beautifully curated Japanese-style interiors to the artisanal artwork in every corner, every detail felt carefully chosen and deeply rooted in local culture. Even the toilet was a highlight—one of the latest high-tech models, adding a fun modern touch to the traditional setting. We were warmly welcomed with generous gifts, including a bottle of fresh mikan juice and delicious local snacks. The lady who handled our check-in was incredibly kind and made us feel at home right away. I genuinely loved every bit of this stay. Entei is not just accommodation—it’s an experience. A dream, really. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a seasonal outdoor pool. The property was perfect. It was quite remote which we enjoyed after coming from the business of the city. The room was immaculately clean and spacious and was well equipped with amenities and cooking equipment. The view from the room and the huge balcony was beyond stunning. Would highly recommend staying here, and already have to many people! Would definitely stay here again and wish we had been able to stay longer.

The folks running the place clearly care about their guests and are very caring and kind. They provide tons of information about Hakata Island, and have curated a restaurant and map of where you can go for food since there isn’t too much on the island. We felt so cared for and looked after when we arrived after cycling for 4 hours in the pouring rain. Thank you so much for your kindness and we would happily return just to say hi and have more jams!
