His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.

It is very close to Utsunomiya Station and just a 2-minute walk to the best gyoza restaurant in Utsunomiya. The host is very nice. If I visit Utsunomiya again, I will definitely stay at this guesthouse. Highly recommended!

The property is located 2.4 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, 20 km from Kegon Falls and 2.9 km from Rinno-ji Temple. Ryuzu Waterfall is 25 km away and Urushi Museum is 600 metres from the holiday home. Accommodation was very comfortable, nice, and modern. The owner was lovely and went above and beyond to be accommodating. She dropped us at the temple the afternoon we arrived and even left a sweet treat for us in the fridge. Could not be happier with our stay here.
