I’m so glad we stayed at Mr. Michiku’s hostel. Michiku, our host, is the best. He picked me and my son up at 7/11 close to the station and dropped us back at the station the following day. He was very accommodating and helpful. He tend to our needs even for a short stay. The hostel itself is lovely. The interior is a mix of traditional Japanese and modern. We had a warm, comfortable and restful stay. We spent the night in a beautiful tatami room with absolutely amazing view of Mt. Fuji. I will definitely stay here again. It is quite far from the town center but I didn’t mind and loved walking around the Lake Kawaguchiko.

Excellent dinner, listed as buffet (with lot of variety and even lot of alcohol variety), good breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake from the lobby. Coffee machine and chocolates in the lobby. Parking. Large room. Good public onsen. Overwall one of the better hotels we stayed in in Japan.

It features spacious hot spring baths with spectacular nature views, a video games corner and a souvenir shop. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas. This hotel is almost perfect. Super friendly and help staffs. Free shuttle bus service. Top level service. A hot spring you can see Mt. Fuji. Perfect view with Mt. Fuji and the lake. I don’t know what more I can ask for from this hotel. I felt so happy when I was in that room. The view from the room is exactly the same as you can see from the website. I have to wake up at 0700 to take photos of Mt. Fuji under the morning sun.
