As it was mid week & we were the only guests he made us tea, coffee & rice cakes each morning which we had with him on the verandah... .a delightful treat!

Best location in the heart of the hanok village. The owner was very nice and gave us a full list of attractions and recommendations on the first night. It's a traditional hanok house, so you sleep on the ground, and that might be a bit uncomfortable if you're not used to it, but the experience is really worth it. I totally recommend this place.

Located in Gunsan, 47 km from Jeonju Hanok Village, Gran Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The staff was super friendly and professional. Everything was immaculate. Especially the bed was the best part for me - so clean & comfy!! Despite it was located at the heart of busy area close to the LD bus terminal inside the premise was completely quiet thanks to the great insulation. If I had chance to visit Gunsan area I would definitely stay there again.

Tranquil setting, garden was lovely, house was very clean. The owners were fabulous…arranged for our 3AM taxi to the bus station and came to the house at that early hour to make sure our departure went as planned. This was key, as scheduling taxis in Jeonju is difficult.
