I am a designer and the room was just the best, most well designed space on our trip in Sri Lanka! Spacious, lovely light concept, large bathroom. Best of all were the 2 lounge chairs on the balcony. It was a magnificent experience not only because we saw so much nature and wild animals at a close range but because the staff were the best. Nishantha took us to see a local woman who was so poor yet she used whatever means she had to look after 22 orphaned puppies whose mother had been killed. The level of poverty was astounding. The staff help her to survive. Without them there would be certain death. If you can spare some money please give it to him and he will pass it on. A truly humbling and touching experience that jolts you to the core. Special mention to our mates at Yala who made our stay so memorable Sajith, Kasun, Nishantha and our safari driver Amile. Thanks guys, you are the best!

The staff were very friendly and many of them were always around. They helped us with our laundry, were flexible about serving food and met us with a welcome juice on a hot day. The safari was excellent, would recommend it to anyone staying there. Room was comfy and large and the front garden was really nice.

The property is well managed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We took the romantic villa with a private swimming pool. Top-notch privacy, no doubt about that. The pool was clean and maintained daily. Housekeeping dropped by every day to clean the rooms and washroom. The property has one of the best oceanfront views you can expect with your resort. The beach is clean and not crowded at all. You will find people only staying there and nearby resorts. Foods was delicious too. The staff members are generous and friendly in every way possible. They will take care of everything you will need. The best part was they would arrange beachside dinner for you as well as free yoga sessions every morning with a professional yoga instructor. They also offer spa services with reasonable pricing. Worth trying. The property is surrounded by trees and you will see wild peacocks roaming around. There is a small lagoon just beside the property where you can see a lot of birds. Loved the place in every way.

Ubicación a cinco minutos andando de la playa de rekawe beach donde se puede ver el desove de las tortugas. Personal muy amable y servicial. Piscina y buen desayuno.

New Cormorant Lake Resort & Yala Safari Place se encuentra en Tissamaharama, a 2,6 km de Tissa Wewa, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. El lugar es excelente, la habitación era grande y cómoda. Está ubicado frente a un lago grande y bonito, es un sitio con una vibra muy buena, tranquilo, relajante, con un área común grande, y puedes ordenar comidas/bebidas. Además, el dueño es muy amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar en todo lo que pueda, incluso ofreció un tour gratuito a los alrededores. También me ayudó a organizar el safari a Yala. En general, fue el mejor sitio en el que me he quedado en Sri Lanka.
