This was truly a special and unforgettable stay. The place is simple yet absolutely stunning – a beautiful structure immersed in greenery, with breathtaking views over the mountains. A real hidden gem where nature and peace surround you completely. The owner is a wonderful person, incredibly kind and welcoming. He’s also a wildlife photography enthusiast – and truly talented! I honestly believe he should publish his work – his shots are amazing. Dinner was delicious and beautifully prepared, and the whole team was so kind and thoughtful. They even waited for us until late, as my girlfriend wasn’t feeling well, just so we could still enjoy our meal when she felt better. That kind of care is rare to find. A magical place with beautiful people. We left with full hearts (and full bellies!). Highly, highly recommended.

From cool misty mornings to clear, refreshing afternoons, each moment was filled with wonder. Even during sunrise, the weather remained comfortable, adding to the overall charm of the location. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Their genuine care and dedication to providing a top-notch experience reflected true Sri Lankan hospitality. Additionally, the view from the place was incredibly interesting. We were treated to vistas of mountains, paddy fields, and pristine natural environments. It truly felt like a natural and green heaven, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. Staying here felt like a form of meditation, enhancing the relaxation and rejuvenation of our vacation. Overall, our stay at A Frame Riverston was nothing short of magical, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat amidst stunning natural beauty.

It is an experience that anyone ,who loves hiking and a little pampering at the same time, should have. The view is beautiful, the vibes are beautiful, the staff is amazingly professional, the food is really good. Totally worth it!

Gammaduwa Heritage Bungalow and Tea Gardens se encuentra en Matale, a 50 km de Centro comercial Kandy City Centre, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de... Fantastic location in the Knuckles. We stayed here for 2 nights. The house is very special with many cosy seating areas and of course the stunning views outside from the rocking chairs on the terrace. The work they do for the community and their mission and vision is admirable. Nanda is a very nice host to talk to and helps you with everything like providing rain gear and leech socks for our hike .He taught us the Sri Lankan game Carrom and even played this with our kids. The food is fantastic, so many different dishes to taste from, and we loved the afternoon tea with home made cakes. Thanks a lot Nanda and team!
