I must commend the exceptional drivers who ensured our transportation around the island was not only efficient but also enjoyable. From the moment we stepped into their buggies, we were greeted with beaming smiles and cheerful greetings. Their infectious enthusiasm set the tone for each journey, transforming what could have been a simple ride into a joyful adventure. On the morning of my birthday, as I embarked on a buggy ride to explore more of the island, our driver surprised me with a heartfelt rendition of "Happy Birthday." It wasn't just the song itself that touched my heart; it was the thoughtfulness behind the gesture. The resort's activities were equally impressive. The pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters provided the perfect backdrop for a variety of water sports and excursions. I took advantage of activities like snorkeling with nurse sharks. Shan, our guide, made sure the experience was not only safe but also exhilarating, leaving us with memories to last a lifetime. And let's not forget about the underwater restaurant! Dining amidst the vibrant marine life was a surreal experience, made even better by the impeccable service provided by Shijona, Nisha, Mexyluz, and Pinki. What a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, staff was welcoming and hospitable. Thank you Shiela and team for such a warm and organized welcome. Such delicious selection of various cuisines with lots of fresh veg/fruit and savory ethnic dishes. Thanks to special host Pooja and server Shamveel for making certain we were well cared for. Also an open air facility with breathtaking views of the azure seas. Travel coordination was easy with Cinnamon making arrangements with hotel teams back in Hulhumale. Speedboat took about 1hr20. Bring ear plugs or better yet great music to quiet the motor noises. Overall, great experience and relaxation.

Everything was just great, it was my second time in 2 years in this hotel and I couldn’t find anything disappointing, team and management are really taking care of the island and hotel. The resort has two fresh water swimming pools on the beach and children's playground, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. We had an amazing time at Meeru! Even though we’ve been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places, this truly felt like a dream vacation—absolutely spectacular. The resort has fantastic facilities, from a well-equipped gym to a tennis court, soccer field, and even padel. I spent more time exploring the island than in the gym though—walking around paradise is a workout in itself! The staff were wonderful, and both the buffet and à la carte restaurants were excellent. We were lucky to be upgraded from a beach villa to a water villa, and I have to say, it made a world of difference. If it’s within your budget, I’d definitely recommend splurging on a water villa or one with a private pool. We saw so many sharks and colorful fish right from our deck—it was magical. We also went for the all-inclusive option. Even though we’re not big drinkers, it felt worth it just for the peace of mind. Everything is priced in USD and things can get quite expensive, so it was nice not having to think about every meal or drink. All in all, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
