Staff is super friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool area with sunbeds and hammocks. Very good breakfast with something for everyone. I‘d definitely recommend staying in this great place! Thank you so much for everything- you made my stay on Holbox perfect.

Located on the shores of Bacalar Lagoon, this hotel offers its guests complimentary American breakfast, private pier area and Wi-Fi access in the common area. If you're looking to relax and enjoy nature and the lagoon than this is perfect for you. The property is nestled in the jungle, set close to the Lagoon with easy access to it. The rooms are extremely spacious and thoughtfully designed. The breakfasts are delicious. And the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, running various activities - e.g. jungle and lake tour. The setup next to the lagoon is perfect - plenty of chairs, hammocks, and kayaks.

Offering direct access to Playa Norte Beach, on the beautiful island of Holbox, Holbox by Xaloc features luxurious rooms and bungalows with terraces. The accommodation - and the people working there - are fantastic. It was our third accommodation in Holbox and certainly didn't disappoint. We stayed in the bungalow - which is definitely to be preferred above the apartments if you can afford it. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable beds and an hangmat - among other things. Everyday the housekeeping made sure the bungalow felt brand new. It had a romantic vibe to it. The breakfast was great - multiple options and fresh fruits and the surrounding is lush green. Above all, the staff made sure we had an amazing time. The only downside - which has been mentioned in the reviews - is the wifi. Or the lack thereof. To be honest, the lack of wifi does help in tuning off from work and being in the moment. But it definitely needs some improvement. Lots of accommodations in Holbox have Starlink nowadays - so it's fixable. Other than that, we had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing time.

The beach in front of the property is gorgeous. There are hammocks in the water, swings, kayaks, paddle boards, and chairs in front of the water. The rooms are amazing and so comfortable with Netflix, air con, mini fridge, shower with hot water, etc. One of the best parts is being able to use the scooters to go all over town which is included. The property is out of the town but by having the scooters, it makes it easy to go into town. The property is super clean and the workers are very nice. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning and includes a sandwich, fruit, and pastry. It's basic but good. You get one coffee pod to make in your room per day which is good. If you want you can purchase more. Each day they also restock your mini fridge with two beers, two waters and two sodas. They also clean your room daily and the property is kept very clean. This was definitely a splurge for us but if you use all of the amenities it can be worth it.

Fantastic property right in front of beautiful lagoon . Crystal clear lagoon , kept jumping back into the lagoon . They also have a private tour of cenotes and pirates strip which they pick up right from the dock in front of the property

The girl that worked the desk every morning was so sweet and helpful. We looked forward to her warm smile and greeting every time we went in or out! The rooms were very clean and plenty big enough for us. The beds were amazing and the pillows were the best. Every need was met by the staff. Our balcony was a nice size to enjoy the cool breeze at night. The pool, although not huge, was always empty because most people go out everyday to do all the sightseeing, going go the beach, or all the other adventures the area had to offer. The pool was also immaculately kept. Crystal clear clean water at a great temp and a view of the ocean. They provided large pool/beach towels for us, loungers were nice and there were umbrellas. I did everything online and got a response within 10 hrs at the most.
