Each of the stone-and-thatch rooms at Canyon Village are air-conditioned and have beds draped with mosquito nets. They have an en suite bathroom with a shower. Totally amazing place in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful cottages with hot shower and comfy beds set around a large inner area facing the beautiful main restaurant and lounge, bar areas. So well built, around and including the large boulders, they’re even inside the main building. The food was exceptional, dinners and breakfast both. Staff are so friendly and they light fires in many fireplaces in the main building and outdoor firepit. Thanks to Melencia and the Chef and all the staff,all wonderful . It’s a very beautiful place visually and also close to Fish River Canyon. No trouble for 2wd to access from the main road.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and mountain view, Canyon Farmyard Camping is set in Keetmanshoop, 33 km from Naute National Park and 48 km from Seeheim Railway Station. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the campground's outdoor fireplace. This camp is an atraction of it self! There is so much fun thing to see just bz walking around the camp and we enjoed it very much! Each location also offers a lot of privacy as the camp is very spatious. The location is quite good as it is located between the fishriver canyon and the quiver tree forest. The owners were very nice and offered us great advice about where and when to go. They gave us a great tip about feeding of the cheetas which we wouldnt have kown about without them. They also gave us great tips about where to continue our path. The camp is very peacefull and a perfect place to observe the milkiway galaxy, sunrise and the sunset. While showing us around we even saw a Leopard that offered us great entertainment during the night! (This is ofcurse a joke. Or is it....? :D) Even if you are just passing by, we strongly suggest to stoping by at least for a coffee to meet the owners and their very artsy camp!

This apartment provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The apartment features family rooms. Good place to stay before or after crossing the border. Chalets are clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Wifi worked very well that night but not so much the next morning. Staff at the shop were extremely nice when we checked in. They even made a call for us in Namibia to confirm a reservation. We recommend.

We were warmly greeted by Phylicia and she was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment which catered perfectly for our every need. Phylicia has thought of absolutely everything and supplies so many convenient things for a traveller… think cooking oil, coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, butter and more. There is even a selection of toiletries in case you forgot yours. The hosts live on site and it was like being welcomed to a new family, which is so nice when you’re so far from home. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.

Most beautiful stars, accommodation equipped with everything you need and more. Had the most delicious frozen ready made meals that the host warm up and bring for you, could also buy braaipacks, wood and homemade bread. The hiking trail is such a great extra. Can highly recommend staying here will definitely come again.

Canyon Roadhouse Campsite features camping accommodation in the Karas region, near the Fish River Canyon.

Campers are welcome to make use of the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities.

Each campsite is set next to a dry riverbed and has a barbecue and shared ablution facilities. Everything! Staff is super kind, the place and decorations are amazing. Such a fun place with lots of details. The campsite is shady and the shower and toilets are sparkly clean. Best spot for stargazing. We chilled at the pool which is very clean, lots of shade and chairs. Food (veggie spud and chicken burger) were yummy. We tried the local Namibian white wine (and took the bt away for the rest of our trip), very tasty. A MUST DO STOP!!!
