The room was impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and had a warmth that contrasted beautifully with the snowy Arctic landscape outside. The name "The View" is no coincidence – the panorama from the windows is breathtaking. Although the restaurant at the hotel was closed in the evening, the staff had an agreement with a restaurant in town offering a 10% discount – a thoughtful and convenient touch. The dinner I had there was nothing short of exquisite: a creamy seafood soup and fresh local catch of the day – truly some of the best food I enjoyed in Norway. Breakfast the next morning? Absolutely the best I had on the whole trip. Fresh, generous, and served in a room flooded with morning light and framed by views of snow-covered mountains. The town of Honningsvåg itself is charming, with its working harbour, fishing boats, and colourful houses set against the stark white hillside. It felt like stepping into a painting.

For over 100 years, Arctic Boutique Hotel Northcape, by the old name HAVLY, has been a safe haven for visitors and fishermen to Honningsvåg. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded my expectations (the room, food and staff) and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and great service.
