I loved the super hospitable family, Shardul made me feel home, his father is so calm and always ready to talk about their culture and old times, his little brother and sister are amazing to hang out with by the bonfire. I was really touched by their hospitality and left with a promise to return again.

We spent 4 days at Wildlife Planet and we definitely hope to be back one day. Lovely to walk around the area, tranquil place if you want to relax with spacious outdoor areas to do so, great food & very close to the National Park Entrance. Baba and all the guides' passion for wildlife and conservation were heartwarming to observe and admire. They definitely try their best to show you the wild, without being invasive to the wildlife and always respectful. Best wildlife experiences ever 😁! Also, appreciated the ecofriendliness not only in name; packed lunch during tours with no plastic and reusable stuff, refillable water available & encouraged. I hope the whole area remains this sustainable for years to come.

Nanu's Bardiya Homestay se encuentra en Bhurkīā y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, jardín con terraza y vistas al jardín. i spent a good stay in that nice family. nanu and his wife kali take care of you very well. she cooks a delicious dahl. And nanu explains you how the safari goes to happen. he will be your guide during the safari. i did safari walking and jeep. i saw tigers/rhinoceros/elephants/snakes/monkeys...). good price!! there are 2 or 3 rooms. usually not a lot of people. big room with mosquito net, fan ceiling and your own bathroom. it was clean. nothing to say. i paid 210€ in all : for 4 safaris walking and 1 safari jeep, meals, free water bottles, room. 8.5 days!! safari begins at 7am and finishes like 6pm. bardia park is good if you want to avoid the tourists like in chitwan. so lets go to nanu homestay if u want a very good experience in a local family instead a ressort expensive and without contact with the owner.

You become one of the Family at Golden River, I had such a fantastic time here, a wonderful family led by Pappu, Incredible guide, the most delicious food & the best location 😍😍 I saw so many birds just sat on the porch drinking Masala Chai, Recommend to anyone who wants to fulfill their dreams of seeing the wildlife & experience the warmth & hospitality of a great local family, & yes, I saw 3 Tigers amongst so much other wildlife!!!! 😍😍🐯🐯😍😍

Bardia Riverside View Park Resort - FR and EN speaking dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Bhurkīā. Este alojamiento, que cuenta con servicio de conserjería, también ofrece barbacoa. As soon as we arrived at Riverside, we felt like home. The place is just wonderful and the garden makes you want to sit and relax as much as you can. The nature around is very nice as well. Anil and his parents are really helpful and friendly just as the staff. Anil also speaks french fluently, so it was nice to have conversations in our language. The food is yummy. We did the walking safari and the guide is very nice and experienced and all this for a good price. What else ? We wanted to stay 2 days and we finally stayed 7 days. Thanks again 🌞

Sunsetview Bardia se encuentra en Bardia y ofrece wifi gratis, jardín, salón de uso común y bar. Todas las unidades tienen baño privado totalmente equipado con ducha y zapatillas. Pramesh and Noemi are the perfect hosts - they make sure you are happy at all times! They have both travelled themselves, so they know what makes for a comfortable stay, e.g. they have a chill-out space with hammocks, the beds are great, there is space to leave your stuff, the bathrooms don't have the usual nuisances like shower over the toilet and what we really appreciated: if you have no safari planned for the day, there is no fixed breakfast time, come when you like, so no stress. All the staff are super friendly too and it makes for a very relaxed stay. Dinner is great, everybody eats together and there is no menu but rather a different dinner set every night that can be altered to individual preferences/ needs. It is great to sit together in the evening and swap stories of the day. The place seems to attract a certain type of traveller and it fits really well and makes it enjoyable to have a drink and a chat together. Pramesh is also a guide in the Bardia National Park and we went on two trips with him, a walking and a jeep safari, and both were great. We had the impression that we got to see a lot more than other people who stayed at different lodges that we ran into. Ramesh is very experienced and has a lot of patience, so we really got to "meet" all the wonderful inhabitants: 5 tigers, one big male wild elephant, several rhinos, deers, different species of birds (also the big hornbills!), it was amazing! Ramesh's cheerful personality makes it a pleasure to spend time with him. We got a very warm send-off and it felt to us that we had arrived as strangers and left as friends. We hope to be back soon!

We have visited Bardia National Park 4 times. There are a lot of lodges and resorts, and they all offer pretty much the same things. But Bardia Wildlife Resort TRULY stood out. We stayed in a newly renovated room with air conditioning, good wifi, excellent meals. We took all our meals in the beautiful garden. We were surprised to see pizza and lasagna on the menu! And even more surprised when it really WAS pizza and lasagna! A welcome change from the usual Nepali food. The personal attention was incredible! Hira, the owner, took my wife into town to a fabric store where they made her two comfortable dresses for 1700 rupees, about 14 USD. I work in health care, and they arranged a visit to a local clinic, as well as the usual jeep and walking trips into the park.

Hukum, the owner and guide, worked so hard to make sure I had a good time. His wife provides the meals, which were excellent and organic (many of the items are from his own garden). He helped me plan an itinerary for my time there. His prices were reasonable for the excursions. I saw a tiger and elephant in the wild as well as many other species of birds and animals. Although it's significantly more expensive than the other day trips, I would recommend the rafting. It was peaceful and a unique way to see Bardiya.
