We were driving, so upon arrival he found us on the narrow streets of the old town, helped to park the car and get the suitcases. The place is in the heart of the old town, Adnan introduced the history and the architecture! We absolutely fell in love with the authenticity! And the delicious breakfast place with a magnificent terrace was just cherry on the top!

Initially, the surrounding locality was a little unexpected, but as they say, "Don't judge a book by its cover!" The moment we arrived at Etra Inn, we were amazed. The hospitality provided by Mr. Saif was flawless. He was truly welcoming and helpful. The room itself was superb. It was incredibly spacious with beautifully maintained interiors. We especially appreciated the ensuite bathroom with the tub and readily available hot water. The inclusion of a kettle, fridge, coffee, tea, a spacious king-size bed, ample storage (wardrobe, drawers), and plenty of charging points made our stay incredibly comfortable. The convenient parking inside the compound was also a big plus. While the weather was a little warm, the effective AC and fan in the room ensured we were perfectly comfortable. The overall ambience of Etra Inn was excellent, and being so close to restaurants and the souq was incredibly convenient. After a long journey from Dubai, booking Etra Inn was absolutely worth it. The stay exceeded expectations and refreshed us considerably. We would highly recommend Etra Inn to anyone planning a trip to Oman and looking for comfortable, convenient, and welcoming accommodation in Nizwa. Kudos to the entire team at Etra Inn! Inside, there were two lovely outdoor seating areas, both thoughtfully designed, plus a charming swing that added a playful touch. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the main area. It’s only a 2-minute walk to Alaqer Wall and about 7 minutes to Nizwa Fort. There are plenty of cafés nearby and even a small supermarket just around the corner, which was very convenient. We received a thoughtful little gift after check-out, which made our experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this place for families or groups—it’s the perfect spot to relax, feel at home, and enjoy exploring Nizwa to the fullest.

He helped us get to Jebel Shams, hiked with us and even brought along Omani coffee and dates. He also recommended an interesting house-museum nearby that we could visit (and see some demos) and gave us other tips. If you are tired after checking in they can also order delivery food for you. There's an indoor pool that you can use for free, just ask the ladies. Thank you for everything!
