Our stay at this boutique hotel on Isla Colón was absolute perfection. Nestled between the jungle and the sea, right by the gorgeous Playa Bluff (not ideal for swimming but stunning nonetheless), the setting is pure paradise. With only 10 rooms, the hotel offers a peaceful, intimate vibe. Our spacious room featured a large, comfortable bed and a private balcony — waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys and birds was unforgettable. The swimming pool was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The service was excellent — the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The food was delicious, making it tempting to dine in often. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Bocas Town, so I’d recommend having a taxi contact handy. One of our highlights was renting ATVs to explore the island — an amazing way to see more of the area (including the incredible beach “La piscina”) All in all, a 10/10 experience. If you’re looking for tranquility, nature, and a bit of luxury, this place is a hidden gem.

Se respira muchísima paz y tranquilidad en el sitio Si quieres estar tranquilo. Buscas privacidad pero no estar alejado del centro del pueblo, este es el lugar. Rodeado de mar, unas vistas preciosas y mucho silencio. Las habitaciones están pulcras, muy limpias. Todas con terracita vista al mar y manglares. La ubicación es encantadora. Los desayunos muy buenos. Bajar de tu habitación y poder nadar ahí mismo, no tiene precio. Sally y Mike muy buenos anfitriones. Para los tours te pasan a buscar a la misma casa por el mar, sin necesidad de ir al embarcadero del centro. Eso es muy cómodo.

La Coralina Island House está en Bocas del Toro, a pocos pasos de Playa Bluff, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, centro de fitness y jardín. The location is unbeatable, the facilities were beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We particularly loved the salt water pool, and the sauna/cold plunge combo. The breakfast and food in general was amazing (there are not tons of options on the menu but each meal we ordered was very well executed). We will definitely be back again!

RIVA B&B se encuentra a pocos pasos de Playa de Carenero y ofrece jardín y salón de uso común, así como alojamiento con aire acondicionado, terraza y wifi gratis. desayuno impecable! frutas deliciosas con cereal, cafe, tostadas, jugo! todo freso. El lugar es impresionante, desde el balcon ve estrellas de mar, manta rayas, peces. Es muy fácil ir a la isla principal 1$ por persona. max 1 min de barco. Ania es genial y siempre te dará consejos, las habitaciones son limpias, insoladas, y todo de excelente calidad. LLevate tu anti insectos porque en todo Bocas del Toro hay mucho que te pican... Un beso Ania!! seguramente volveremos.

Fabianne y Benoit son unos anfitriones de primera, el trato y la atención son de destacar. Así como los platos deliciosos que preparan. Si hablamos del hotel, es un sitio perfecto para desconectar con unas vistas increíbles y decorado con mucho gusto. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar y ojalá pueda volver algún día! Wow, this accommodation blew us away! Pierre and Manon who are running this property with a lot of LOVE are incredible people worthy of admiration! They bought a house with a good amount of land around it and have constructed several cabins, a yoga deck, a restaurant and a boat house over the last few years. Ataraxia has its own pier, so boatmen will easily take you there from Isla Colon. At the back of the property, there is a nature reserve, a jungle with so many treasures! We were able to spot the red frogs, caimans, a racoon, yellowtail birds, giant turquoise butterflies, turtles, giant ants, we rented a free kayak and paddled through the mangroves nearby, and we walked on several occasions to Old Bank, the main village on Isla Bastimentos, and once to Wizzard Beach. Manon also booked us a trip to Zapatilla (including sloth, dolphin and starfish spotting and snorkeling) and Pierre arranged our transportation to the airport. Several ideas for activities in the area conveniently presented in a booklet in the room (Zapatilla trip, Wizzard Beach hike, Red Frog & Polo Beach, bio-luminescence tour, etc.). Free kayaks and snorkeling gear available. If you are into botany and medicinal plants, you will have a lot to talk about with Pierre who planted so many of them around the property. Running a guesthouse in the middle of the jungle is a hard task, yet the couple somehow manage it and always keep smiling and interacting with guests at all times. Thank you very much, we will never forget our stay with you! You are a true inspiration! Be aware that: there is no hot water or AC and you cannot use a hairdrier, as the place runs on solar energy. There is wifi. Rooms are cleaned daily and are very spacious. Cold drinks available in the common fridge and option to have dinner. Tasty and creative breakfast included.
