Nancy was very helpful even though she couldn’t really speak English (and my Spanish is worst than her English. She did speak almost fluent French). But husband Alfredo was great with English and helping me plan my stay.

He is a very knowledgeable tour guide and took us in two amazing trips to explore ruins and lagoons in the surrounding areas. His wife made delicious breakfasts with local products. This is the perfect place to stay in Leymebamba. Highly recommended!

It’s about 10-15 minutes on foot to the center. Very friendly owner who also owns a travel agency. He goes out of his way to help us for example to order pizza for us and to help us booking tickets for Kuelap online. We ordered a taxi with him to get us around and the driver Ivan was wonderful in also giving us explanations and talking about Peru people in general (possible even with our limited knowledge of Spanish).
