Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. It is located on Terceira Island, with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean Promenade, and offers an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and had a balcony with an amazing view of the pool and sea. We lay in bed at night with the door open and listened to the waves and watched the sunrise. The hotel was just outside the town but there is a lovely promenade outside which leads into the town. Pool towels are provided and there is a small gym (which we didn’t use as preferred to run along promenade). Buffet breakfast was very nice. Car parking available on site. There was a lovely restaurant next door to hotel on sea front which was lovely in the evening.

The staff and especially the hotel owner were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. . They helped us with restaurant reservations, car rental and many other special needs that came up during our stay. I will definitely return to Mastro on my next visit to Terceira. The room was super clean as was the whole hotel. 10+.

Breakfast is basic; bread, cheese and ham, yogurt, juice, coffee, honey, Nutella, some sweets and fruits as well. Enough to start the day. The kitchen is spacious and has everything for a quick snack. It was pleasant to chat with the owner of the establishment as well. If you're looking for a place to end the day and start fresh, this is the place.

Beautiful rooms, a lovely smell everywhere, fabulous breakfast with lots of options, lovely pool and spa area. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Plus there were books, lots of books. The location is ideal for exploring with a sea swimming spot nearby. The water was clear and warm. Angra is a stunning town and this hotel is the perfect place to stay.

The owner and her son were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. We were even invited to a small family gathering over the weekend, and everyone was so warm and friendly! It was such a lovely way to experience real Portuguese hospitality on our first visit to Portugal. The hotel is located a bit outside the town center, so having a car is convenient for getting around. That said, we managed perfectly well using the bus (there’s a stop right in front of the house) and returning by taxi without any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Terceira who is looking for peace, nature, and a quiet retreat.

We had a private bathroom and full use of the shared kitchen. The staff was great--Vanessa was exceptional! She helped us with everything we needed, and she took extra time to arrange for just the tour we wanted! We highly recommend staying here.
