The pension is located 10 minute drive from the main entrance to the Slovenský raj National Park. There is a train (like those small trains for kids in parks, that runs on the road and has three small cars) that stops right next to the pension and takes passengers to and from the National Park. Gabriella, the owner, is a wonderful person and most helpful. She recommends the most interesting trails in the park, prepares delicious dinners, and helps in any way she can. My room was convenient and had everything I needed. There are tables under a pavilion in the back yard, where one can sit, play, and work.

Pavol, the owner takes immense pride in this place and it shows. He is a genuine, kind and generous person who honestly cares if you are taken care of. I’ve been to places all over the world and this is my favorite place, hands down? Why? The amenities are many (the infra red sauna and hot tub to watch sunsets are two) and Pavol is excited for you to enjoy the labors of his work. He even helped me plan my day at the park and made sure I found my way. This was a special experience. I absolutely recommend this place.

Very nice apartment in a very nice location, only 5 minutes driving from the National Park. We booked two rooms, which both were clean, nice and neatly furnished. The villa provided very convenient parking directly on the property. We appreciated the extra stuff, such as foosball, ping-pong table, nice outdoor dining... The (shared) kitchen contained all necessary utensils, we needed for breakfasts. We really like a big dinning table in front of the kitchen. The surroundings was very quiet, except for one fact that at 6am the bells at the nearby church started chiming for several minutes. However, the windows seem to be made of a sound-proof material, because when we closed them, we barely could hear the bells.
