We stayed in one of the campers, and it was really cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was surprisingly large as well. Breakfast was quite simple but dinner was exceptional. We had a 7 course meal of really delicious food for $300 NT per person. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lalashan.

Brian and his family are very friendly and helpful. the family homestay is very cosy, comfortable and nicely decorated. What I liked best is the location in a valley next to a river with forest all around. Brian's Mum is a great cook! Brian was very helpful with precise directions for getting there, great recommendations for day trips and how to arrange next steps for our journey onwards. It was such a pleasure to stay there!

Super clean, beautiful room and view, staff is great, food is delicious (breakfast included, dinner is extra). Location in general is very cool with a lot of nature. Bathroom is huge, shower water is hot with high pressure. Excellent place and stay in every way. Little notes for future people: You need a car or scooter to get around the area, as it's pretty remote, so just know that. Restaurants in the nearby towns close at around 6pm, and the villa's dinner is at 5:30pm, so if you're a late eater you'll have to rely on 7-11. There's no TV in the room, which to me is a positive, but if you might want to watch a movie in your room at night then you'll have to use your phone/tablet/computer or whatever.
